Well well well my wife came home saying how good your pies 🥧 were but I looked in woollies and sausage rolls 2 meat 🥩 pie free range to greener pasture lol 😜 so free range the meat 🥩 ran away and the 128 layers of crispy Puff 💨 like a big puff 💨 of wind 💨 and they had no puff 💨 Un flaky pastry 🥐 come on you must be having a lend of us we can 👌 cook 🧑‍🍳 baking better pies 🥧 Apple 🍎 shortcake steak 🥩 pies chicken 🐓 and mushrooms and vegetables 🌽 so very disappointing National Pies 🥧 no butter in the pastry 🥐 our lovely 🥰 local bakers can do better ! A disgrace to Australian pies. We bought these high-priced frozen meat pies thinking we would treat ourselves. After visiting Tasmania recently we had high expectations. Unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth.

These pies lack content. As soon as you open the lid you find a mostly empty pie with a tiny bit of meat at the bottom. Even 4&20 or home brand pies are much better. I squeezed in some tomato sauce and tried to mix it up. You can't because there is no meat in there.

It is like eating pastry with meat sauce. Even the home brand Pies have more meat. I would not recommend even if they were a quarter of the price. If I gave these to a visitor to Australia, they would still not know what a meat pie is after eating it.

TL;DR - 4 pieces of gristle in a party pie, immediately followed by gristle on first bite of sausage roll.

If I could give 0 I would. We're not buying your food products so you can put meat SCRAPS in the pies and sell it to us. I was eating a small party pie, and I found FOUR pieces of gristle inside and thought it was just poor luck. I then decided to try a sausage roll and immediately more gristle inside of the first bite, not to mention the taste had the aroma of raw meat despite being cooked.
