Wow, this place is an absolute haven for those with a sweet tooth! They offer an incredible variety of handcrafted confectionery and traditional sweets that will leave you spoiled for choice. The Tassie freckle and fudge are particularly outstanding, and it's no surprise that they are customer favorites.

One thing that truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional level of friendliness and knowledge displayed by the staff. They were not only welcoming but also incredibly well-informed about their products. I was particularly impressed by their expertise regarding gelatine, as they went out of their way to advise against purchasing certain items due to their gelatine content. It's evident that the team genuinely cares about their customers' preferences and dietary needs.

I enjoyed going into this sweet shop recently as I'd seen it on an earlier visit to Hobart but hadn't ended up getting there. It is quite small but quaint, with the proprietor busy making sweets when I came in. I bought a variety of her homemade fudges, both creamy and a crackly variety (the Russian fudge). Delicious. The shop and the Salamanca market stall are both the best sweets you will find. There are so many wonderful things. Old fashioned lolly shop. Many home made things you will find awesome. I highly recommend everything but our favourites are the Coconut ice, choc coated ginger bread, rocky road with jelly, kiss biscuits, wagon wheels, raspberry honeycomb and... well you get the point.
