Pizzarazzi started off extremely well at this location and I had a good rapport with the franchise owner (very motivated and interested in any improvement he could make), amazing pizzas never seen before, good offers, excellent service, I could not say enough about them to friends, and we would order regularly.
Over the last couple of years the quality has dropped which puts them into a problematic situation where they are priced well out of budget range but the quality is not what it was and won't match up to wood-fired bespoke pizza places - premium consumers are their target market.
On our last delivery, online order worked great, service was timely and professional, piping hot fresh, but one pizza was swiming in oil (yeah pepperoni, that's mostly on me) and another (bbq chicken) was claimed to be a bit dry - they ate only one slice. I'm also not a fan of the thinner bases, I am sure they were thicker before, with the toppings almost literally trowelled on, almost mandatory cutlery eating! They were 'okay' but not up the original standard. I would consider them just eligible for the Pizzarazzi logo.
Pizzarazzi used to be my go-to favourite, but I am questioning if they are as good value any more. Looking at competitors I can get the same quality at a cheaper price, or save even more with a cheaper option. In the age of gig food delivery they've got serious competition where excellent quality can be delivered to your door at a comparable price.
They're still decent, the vego range looks nice (not tried yet) and they still command their niche on an unmatched range of premium pizzas no-one else even makes and are local.
Worth a go for the Razzi and VIP range alone, keeping in mind some reservations. Really hoping that Pizzarazzi can reclaim their glory days as King of Pizzas.
Update 2025-0508: Was going to order this last night but the price was at least 40% more expensive than the competition, for effectively the same pizza. Also it looks like delivery coupon codes can no longer be used with deals, making it even less competitive. I will update review again next...
Read moreWe love the pizzas we ordered - 2 Cappricciosa pizzas with anchovies for my son and hub and chicken BBQ for me. The boys said the anchovies were especially flavourful not just a taste of salt but a pleasant fish taste which is very much appreciated. In the ast the anchovies they had on their pizzas in other places were a bit different Pizzarazzi pizzas are as good as the ones we get from another lace which was closed that night that we craves for pizzas So luckily, they were open and we greatly enjoyed our orders. I had leftovers for brekky the next day and shared with my hub too.
I only gave 4 stars because I forgot to ask for the $55 deal for 3 pizzas and we paid ,$63 for our 3 pizzas. I am not sure why we didn't qualify for the deal. Also, I originally ordered medium for my pizza but got large in the end, I didn't want to confuse the order taker. Just as well We got to have leftovers. They...
Read moreWent online for delivery and after an hour tried to call then but went to message bank. Tried 7 times with no success. So I got dressed and drove to the store and they hadn't even started making the pizza and said they didn't answer the phone as they were busy. This store has been taken over by a franchisee and. I think it's slipping. From when I ordered it took over an hour and a half to get my order and I picked it up. I enjoy the Greek lamb pizza and this one is nothing like i've had before and looks nothing like the one in the menu.
UPDATE:: The owner called me back and apologised for the issues I had. He offered to credit me and give me store credit as well. Much appreciated and only took store credit as we did eventually get a nice pizza. Thank you for your follow...
