Soph Slice Gourmet Pizza Bar — Restaurant in Hobart

My partner and I ordered uber eats from the burger bar selection. My order was a baked lamb burger which included baked marinated lamb, cheese, avocado, mixed leaf, red onion, tomato, garlic aioli and mayonnaise served with chips. My partner got the beef burger without peri peri sauce and an egg added. Once everything arrived and we tasted everything it was great but I noticed a couple minor errors in my burger. My partners burger was perfect and what he ordered, the special requests were all fullfilled, so points for that. However the lamb in my burger appeared dry, bland and didn't seem to have a marinated flavour/look. I also had the wrong onion, mine being brown. Which is funny because my partner got red onion on his so I thought there couldn't of been a shortage or anything. The sauce on mine was also wrong, being what I think was bbq, instead of mayo and aoili like it states the order has. It's not really a big deal at all, the food was still really nice and we are happy with it. I just thought it would be important to note that it is important for the staff to follow the ingredients the food is meant to have. Otherwise it was good food and the service was great and efficient. It's easy to make a mistake and get confused and I understand and won't blame them entirely because we did order quite late, so they did well all things considered.

I used to sing your praises any chance I got but after the experience I just had tonight, I'm seriously reconsidering those praises.

I had done my usual order on Uber Eats and when it arrived it was wrong, instructions not followed and my drink was missing so I called the restaurant directly while the uber driver called uber support for me (spoiler alert, he was a million times more helpful than the restaurant)

I was not offered as much as an apology but what instead got yelled at me through the phone was "we are busy so we don't bother reading the order" those exact words, and after a bit of similar back and forth I was hung up on.

I liked to consider myself a loyal customer and to be spoken to in such a disrespectful manner for something that your fault is just unacceptable. It's going to be a long time before I order here again, the food may be good most of the time (from my experience anyway) but the service definitely needs...

Terrible. And the customer service matched the food. I sent these guys a message prior to posting on here to give them an opportunity to explain and they didn't even have the decency to respond.

I ordered two pizzas via Menu Log and I have had better pizzas straight out of the box from the supermarket (totally serious). The base was bad, mostly because of the texture and they seemed undercooked.

On the seafood pizza the prawns tasted like they had been frozen and totally flavourless but the combination of flavours on both of the pizzas didn't work at all.

There were four of us that tried these pizzas and everyone agreed they were not good in any way. Between the four of us we didn't get...
