We booked here as a group with children for an 8.30pm sitting as we had taken the kids to a jackjumpers game and needed to eat afterwards!

We had no idea until we arrived that children are not allowed to be in this venue after 9.30pm. So we sat down as a group of 11 to our reserved table with one menu to share between us all! We then ordered our meals as quickly as we could. At 9.15pm we were halfway through our meals and were once again reminded of our curfue and asked if we would like our meals put into a takeaway container, if they had it their way, we weren't even going to be allowed to finish our meals!! The manager came over and was extremely rude and arrogant about the entire situation. We explained, until we arrived we had no idea about the 9.30pm cut off to children. It is not stated anywhere on their website and it also was not explained over the phone when I called to add to the online booking made. As a group, we spent almost $400 in 45 minutes and were made to feel like filth because we needed to feed our children! We will never be back and will be sure to tell our friends not to aswell! That manager needs a new job and the business owners need to put steps in place to ensure this isn't a surprise to anyone else in future, prior warning is a...

Above and beyond 5 stars! The Brick Factory has a menu to please everyone and is matched by exceptional service. I have a garlic allergy and had noted it on my on line booking. When we arrived and were seated at our table, the charming Dusty came over to let me know what I could eat from the menu. For me this was such a bonus as usually I will pick something from the menu and then the staff check if I can have it but the staff at the Brick Factory were one step ahead . I had plenty to choose from and all our food was exceptionally delicious. My friend said his steak was the best cooked steak he has had in a long time! The bar also has a good variety to choose from and once again the staff were friendly and fantastic ( excellent espresso martini) . Emily went out of her way to make sure we had the right wine when one of our group wasnt sure he had it right when he was ordering for his wife. Apologies for the more personal, minor details in this review but I wanted to acknowledge and show the effort that the Brick Factory goes to ensure that their guests have the best dining experience. Definitely worth a visit when you are...

I was at a table with 17 friends on Sunday night after the Festival of Voices Bonfire, so Salamanca was crowded. 2 of us knew what we wanted to eat and ordered quickly way before anyone else at our table. Then the meals started coming out, but not ours. Nearly our entire table had finished when after 20 mins of watching everyone eat we asked the serving staff and were told our orders weren't put through for 15 mins after we ordered and that they are cooking for 2 restaurants. But shouldn't meals come out in almost the order of the time they were placed? I ordered a pizza and many pizzas came out to our table long before mine. After 50 minutes my Aussie pizza finally arrived and yes it was delicious but was it worth it after watching everyone else eat and finish there meals - I don't think so. This restaurant definitely requires more staff on the bar as food and drink orders on a busy night had just 2 girls at the bar taking orders. And goodness knows what happens to the orders once they are taken - and please don't blame it on the fact you have one kitchen for 2...

On Sunday 25 September at 12pm, I ordered the Salt-N-Pepa squid off the menu. When it arrived, I asked the waitress it had chilli on it as it smells quite strong, she said just a fresh chilli on top. Then when I began to eat it, it was clear that this thing was covered hot chilli. When I queried them at the bar, they said oh yes, it’s also covered in a chilli spice mix. The female Barmaid said no problem we will swap it out for a different dish. As it was brought back inside, the boy at the bar, refused to swap the dish and said you still have to pay for that despite the menu not mentioning anything about chilli (as is the accepted practice). The sheer rudeness and lack of customer service from the boy was very surprising and unusual. Google won’t let me accurately describe the boys attitude behind the bar, nor his rudeness and general lack of customer service. If he serves too many more customers like that, there won’t be a lot of people returning, just like we will not be returning there during a week long visit.

This is a great place with awesome life music. The duo singing were awesome and interactive, even taking song requests. Although we didn't eat the food looks yum especially the pizza. They had a good range of beers on tap. Pirate life IPA was very good, I recommend it of you like a hoppy beer. There has outdoor seating area which us under covered and plenty of indoor seating. There is also an area with a couch and fire place which is perfect for a cold or rainy day. They service is average. Overall a nice place to stop by if you are near Salamanca. Great for large groups too as there are large tables and booths.
