Salamanca Market. Day a very worthwhile visit.I attended a Rally on Parliament Park. To discuss virus roll out .Large positive crown and speaking group. Well informed about rights of citizens not accepting government's plan to make VACCINES mandatory. .especially us older Australians. And nursing home residents as no record of proof of safety of vaccine .To most its a pharmaceutical companies government's attempt to control all citizens . MYSELF unfortunately had a bad fall before my time to speak. ABOUT protection of our citizens. Ambulance called believing my shoulder broken Extension hooked up to microphone and had short speech whilst on ground being treated.off to Royal Hobart Hospital. Xrayed bad bruising no break No douby we will continue to make everyone...

Beautiful lawns with some gardens. A lot of shade! Perfect for a picnic and let the kids run when in Salamanca (though if your a tourist walk up to the other end of Salamanca and around a little bit, there is a big park and I believe a playground somewhere there as well).

If you have ever wanted to catch of Tasmanian politicians, great place to hang out. However if that’s not really your cup of tea, which it’s not most peoples thing I am sure, still a...

Perfect for grabbing a book and just kicking back. The vibe is super relaxed, and it’s not too crowded, so you can really enjoy the peace and quiet. The greenery and all the open space make it a great place to hang out, whether you’re reading, people-watching, or just soaking up the outdoors. It’s like a little oasis right in the middle of the city! Definitely a spot to visit if you’re after a...

Nice gardens with a few Tasman fountains and statues! A great resting place when the Salamanca market is on. Some decent views over the harbour area, and definitely a point of interest when in Hobart! Parliament House on one side and the Sullivan’s Bay boat docks on the other. Plenty of seating, and a lovely place for a picnic of break.

This is a public garden and park space near Salamanca Place and Parliament House. There is a monument to late Premiere Ogilvie, park benches and open grass to enjoy and nice weather days. This is a good spot to grab a seat and enjoy food and drinks purchased at the Salamanca Market vendors on Saturday market days.
