I recently visited San Churro in Salamanca, Australia, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! As a chocolate lover, I was excited to try their famous desserts, and I wasn't disappointed.

From the moment we walked in, the cozy and intimate atmosphere made us feel welcome. The decor was warm and inviting, with rich wooden accents and vibrant colors. Our friendly server, greeted us with a smile and helped us navigate the menu.

We started with the Churros Fiesta ($16.50), a selection of six churros served with three dipping sauces: rich chocolate, creamy caramel, and zesty orange. The churros were cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We devoured them in no time, dipping them in the delicious sauces.

For our main dessert, I ordered the Spanish Hot Chocolate ($6.50) and the Churro Waffle Sandwich ($14.50). The hot chocolate was thick, velvety, and intensely chocolatey – just the way I like it! The churro waffle sandwich was a game-changer. A crispy churro waffle filled with creamy vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauces, and topped with whipped cream. It was a match made in heaven!

My friend ordered the Couple's Churro Experience ($29.50), which included a plate of churros, two dipping sauces, and a drink. They opted for the Mocha Chiller, a refreshing blend of coffee, chocolate, and ice cream. They raved about the combination of flavors and textures.

Throughout our visit, the service was top-notch. Server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed. The prices were reasonable, considering the generous serving sizes and high-quality ingredients.

In conclusion, San Churro in Salamanca is a must-visit destination for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their churros, desserts, and drinks are all exceptional, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious...

I have been to a wide selection of san churro stores Australia-Wide and can I just say this one was by far the WORST I have ever been to. First of all, the customer service was absolutely shocking. They got our whole order messed up which is surprising as we were quite clear what we were after. Second of all the store was absolutely disgusting, nothing was clean the water dispenser looked like it suffered from a case of explosive diarrhoea, the area around the till was disturbing and all of the food displays were horrid as well. The wait for our food was so long and I received my hot chocolate before my friends icecream. After waiting 10 minutes I asked them if they were able to make the ice cream as we still hadn’t received it, and the lady gave me so much attitude. She then proceeded to put the wrong flavour after looking at the order and when I told her that’s not what we ordered she was even more visibly upset. Safe to say I won’t be back here. This store needs some sort of food and safety management as it is not clean AT ALL and one of the workers had long acrylic nails which were disgusting as well. Manager was not helpful if not even more clueless than the other workers. We came on the 7/07/24 around 8pm. Extremely disappointed as a...

O.M.G Wowzers! Such an amazing experience at the San Churro Salamanca, words can not describe how absolutely incredible everything was. My Partner and I found ourselves stopping into this little corner of the world on our way out of Hobart back to Devonport.

We ordered a couple "Nacho" Sundaes, one being cookies and Cream and the other Strawberry Chocolate, and an Iced long black. Both Nacho bowls were amazing! Definitely coming back for more!

Not only was the food and coffee fresh, tasty and left us wanting more, the atmosphere and vibes we received gave us such an incredible experience.

We had the fortunate luck to meet Deepak, local franchise owner and superstar at the San Churro Salamanca. Had amazing recommendations on the food and such high knowledge around their coffee. We HAD to walk away with a couple bags of their famous coffee beans.

Deepak made our night in Hobart definitely one to remember. Thankyou so much for such an amazing experience!

In saying that, this place is a definite must do if you are...

This is my first time ever coming to a San Churro. After having many Hot Chocolates all over the east coast of Australia, this one is different. The Spanish Hot Milk Chocolate is relatively thick with a rich chocolatey flavor and a bit of hazelnut. A spoon is given also for Tati g the foam when you initially get the drink. Overall, very thick, and a bit heavy for my taste, but that does not mean bad by no means. This was really sweet for me. Also ordered the Churro for one which comes with 3 x ~5-6inch churros with an order or hazelnut sauce (Nutella). As o mentioned before, I don’t consume considerably sweet things so I found my self only dipping little Nutella if any on the churro with each bite. One unique flavor found on the churros was black pepper. It added an interesting twist to the common churro. Hope this helps someone! Cheers!

For the price they charge, I expected a well-presented dish. Instead, it looked like a rushed job—food piled on top of each other, sauce smudged all over the plate, and no sense of effort in the presentation. Disappointing. I’ve been coming here for a while, but it seems like things have changed under the new ownership. We ordered for dine-in, yet not just us, but everyone around was served in takeaway containers. It completely ruined the dining experience. If I wanted takeaway, I would have ordered it that way! On top of that, the presentation was nonexistent—food was just thrown into the containers with no care. It feels like they’re cutting costs at the expense of customer experience. For the price they charge, I expect proper plating and a real dine-in experience. Definitely not coming back unless they fix this..
