My partner loves this place, we normally order on Uber eats and have no issues. When family was in town we decided to take them, I booked for a table for 6 two weeks in advance. When we arrived there was no table ready or reserved and the girl working seemed annoyed by our arrival. We waited a good 15 minutes with no service, there was only one other group of 4 and it wasn’t busy at all. We went inside to order drinks and when the wines came out was filled literally 40ml of the glass.
The entree we ordered was good and came out quickly. We ordered 5 pastas, as you can only order them in dine in and was the main reason we came. 10 minutes after ordering the girl came out and said they could only do three pastas as they didn’t have time to cook 5 pastas due to only three people being on. We were throughly dissapointed by this as the family was keen to try the fresh pasta. The server was barley apologetic for the inconvenience. When the food came out it was sub par the seafood pasta was dry and under cooked and the carbonara was something could cook in home economics not worth the at all. And to top it off none of the pasta was fresh, tasted like overcooked packet pasta.
The pesto focaccia was burnt, overloaded with riccota cheese and had one piece of basil.
Was a really disappointing night and for the price we paid the food was not...
Read moreThis is our favourite pizza place in the (extended) area (we're over at Bellbird Park). Unlike most pizza places, their focus is on the taste experience. The flavours are balanced beautifully. The fresh hand-made pizza bases are delicious and something you rarely find these days. We love to come and try different items from the menu - they have so many delicious pizza's you will not be disappointed. The Australian and Traditional menus are both delicious. I would love to try their fresh made pasta someday. Dine in is comfortable. Not over the top flash, but is cosy and quiet so is great for intimate settings - amazing food and wonderful staff makes a great night out for your special someone or to catch up with friends or family. It smells amazing when you walk in the door. They have great gelato as a desert option when dining in - if you have a sweet tooth like I do. Staff are great. Attentive to customers, friendly and cheerful. They check in (when dining in) to make sure you're being well looked after (without being over the top or leaving you feel neglected). We love this place and highly recommend it to others in the area (or those further afield looking for a fantastic pizza experience with delicious in-house freshly made pizza bases). You won't regret visiting Pizzeria La Prima, just beware - it may be...
Read moreQuite disappointed with the customer service this evening. Myself and a friend walked into the restaurant and were not greeted. No worries they looked busy, so we walked up to the counter and were perusing the menu sitting on the top of the counter, I looked around at the tables trying to see if they were reserved and looked at the three staff who were making pizzas by the looks who had still not said a word to us but had made eye contact multiple times. We waited a bit longer, as I was trying to get anyones attention and still we were ignored, then we decided to grab a seat. Since no one had directed us as so where to sit or what the process in the restaurant was, we took a seat where it didnt appear to be reserved and we looked at the menu. After a few more minutes of being ignored and after finding out that the only pasta dish was lasagna and there was no other pasta options we decided to leave. We got up and walked out of the restaurant back past the staff and still not a single word was said to us. We were both excited to try out this new place and after such a terrible experience with customer service I don't believe I'll ever be back. A simple hello isn't that hard, or "someone will be with you in a minute" that's all I ask and even such a small gesture...
