Table service is a thing of the past.
I asked a staff member to please come see me once she had delivered food. When she l approached the table both my and my wife were greeted with "we do not offer table service anymore" That's great but I didn't even get to ask my question, that had nothing to do with table service.
For the staff member, wait for the question before beforehand.
Not a good coffee club anymore. There are other better establishments.
Old review: When I have mentioned Coffee Club in conversation before I have been not always been greeted with a happy response, I have had from "expensive and boring" to "inconsistent and dirty" this however is not any way to describe this great cafe.
Exceptional staff, consistent meals, quick service, I have been here so many times I cannot count.
The Staff; Always friendly and happy to help putting off the vibe that they actually like working, (this is a very nice feeling as nobody likes going to a café when the person working doesn't want to be there and couldn't be bothered)
The Food; Good and never served without care taken. (just the small things from cleaning the edge of the plate to placing a garnish properly)
Overall this is a great Coffee Club and should be its own brand as it is clearly head and shoulders above the franchise.
Full table service, just walk in and sit down, from menus to ordering. Too many times I have seen people walk to the counter. Another reason why this coffee club is head and shoulders above the rest.
The bad; This café gets quite busy at times and when looking for a quiet place to sit this is usually not one. (busy is...
Read moreI will not be returning after being disappointed after a first time, I visited and arrived to majority tables with plates or either unwiped with clothes still laying on them, we were not offered water as other tables did, it felt like there was no pride in the cleanliness of the room and upon being told there weren't any patties left for my partners chickpea burger and was compensated with mushroom, which is fine enough until you are still expected to pay top dollar for a salad burger, upon ordering the "honey soy chicken" I received a plate of sliced crumbed chicken a pile of spinach leaves with some rice noodles and scoop of avo, no flavour whatsoever i thought i was eating a 4 leaf mix from the bag, I expected more of a standard from a franchise I have had better experiences within other locations, we stood for a number of minutes to pay for our food with no attention from staff, I joked about not paying for the meal and walking out which is not a stretch considered the service was sub par and we went by unnoticed with returned blank looks from staff very unpleasant walking out from a restaurant still hungry after paying top dollar for next to no service...
Read moreHiI am a regular customer at your store at Orion but this morning I had a very unpleasant experience.I came in for a dine-in breakfast after my blood test routine this morning and ordered a small Latte and Fruit toast.I got my coffee within few mins but waited for my toast for nearly 20 minutes. I saw the staff busy with uber eats orders and chatting with other customers. The store was not busy at all (it was 9 in the morning). Then when i saw the kitchen staff quite casually talking amongst themselves, I walked up to the waitress and enquired about my toast. The response was - "oh! I am so sorry. I was caught up with other things. So sorry". In my mind I was thinking - Caught up with what in a restaurant? Isn't the job of the waitress to get the orders placed and served? Even though I was offered free coffee, the apology didn't seem to be genuine at all or was there an offer to get my toast. The lady got back to chatting immediately. Please bear in mind the Brand Name the staff has to maintain. I work for the corporate world and if i said that to my manager that I was caught up with other things, my manager wouldn't...
