There is a strict rule here in this restaurant. They don't give kids menu orders when a pregnant lady asks, regardless of us paying what the mentioned price is.
All they are worried about is making money. To add to that, the owner is threatning us with police and law. My previous post got deleted trying to edit. So here I am writing another post. And go ahead mate, if you want to complaint to police that you provided bad customer service and we reported about it, sure not a problem. Unless there is a new law where you can't right food reviews about your original experience.
Been Australia for over 7 years and never had this situation of getting food denied regardless of what type it is.
If a kid orders a full main menu, would you deny them saying they have to order a kids menu? No right. Same goes here, regardless if its an adult, or kid or baby, a menu is a menu and you as a business are expected to serve the customer what they ask on your menu. If other adults don't want to order it, thats on them. We order food based on our appetite and not on how you expect us to order. Going further, make sure to mention the rules if you have such rules in place because that is just appaling and loosing out on business.
You didn't even have the basic customer service etiquette to provide a nice finishing service. You showed rudeness from the point we said we didn't want to order anymore than one menu. I agreed to your service of not getting a kids menu, but the way you looked at me and wife when we were leaving was nothing less than an angry and rude look and the main reason for my...

Took my wife here for lunch. She has Coeliac disease so we specified that they could do their noodle dishes gluten free (GF) and they said they could. Stoked, we sat down to order and again clarified on her specific choice and was told it's GF. Then the food came out with what looked like hokkien noodles (not GF) and we asked if it was GF, waiter checked with chefs and confirmed it was. Then my wife ate some and knew straight away they couldn't be GF (the texture was too good to be gluten free...after 10 years of eating soggy paper, she knew). I went to check again the waiter cause my wife felt so bad and asked to see the packet to confirm it was gluten free. This is what ruined the venue for me, she again checked with the kitchen and they told her due to policy they could not show customers the ingredients list on their products (absolutely ridiculous) and they wrote them down for us and get this.... The noodles were purely made of egg and vegetable oil. Must be some special kitchen magic holding this egg together instead of starch cause I've never seen eggs make noodles with oil. After being lied to so much we walked out (after paying for my meal of course).
I feel like a whinge writing this and hate writing one stars on restaurants but after being treated like idiots and lied to multiple times I think it's warranted in this case. I wouldn't want anyone with Coeliac disease having these issues. My wife's been sick all afternoon and though the food I ate was actually great, we will...

But that’s not why I am doing a poor review,
I have to say my experience with this restaurant tonight was beyond deplorable.
The owner was very rude, quick and over-all nasty to me.
I just grabbed a menu and sat down and to have a look what I want to eat for a while and before I could even sit down, he is already in my face saying “what do you want” (Give me a second to think? I havent even sat down)
i just said im just going to take a minute to look over the menu please. He stormed off with no response and just stared at me in anger… making me feel uncomfortable as hell.
I only sat there for like maybe 10 min at most going over the horribly overpriced menu trying to decide what meal to burn a hole in my wallet for and he comes over to the table and starts going off at me saying “you can leave now, you just sit here and order nothing, i am not waiting for you, you just come into my restaurant to sit here? Huh? Yeah????”
No worries I will happily leave mate. You are insane.
No wonder your restaurant is completely dead empty on a saturday night.
Learn some manners and patience and maybe dont make your customers feel horribly uncomfortable for just wanting to eat at your restaurant and you might actually get some traffic.
And reconsider the price of your items, every single review mentions the cost being way too high for what we are getting.
I dont see this business staying open for much...
