Galileo Coffee & Kitchen Cafe — Restaurant in Joondalup

The catch cry is 'Seriously good coffee'.. Sadly on this occasion was not the case. Coffee was watery and bitter to the taste.

The advertised special 'Ham and Cheese toastie with regular coffee window advert says $10 inside says $12. This is confusing. Ham was paper thin with some quite tasteless cheese. Carrot cake was small, dry and true to form on this occasion.

One annoying aspect was I am disabled and I was still expected to get up from the table with walking sticks to get coffee placed on the counter.

On the brighter side the Barrista seemed a happy fellow and I think he believed he was doing his best.

If I feel peckish again when going to Spudshed I'll likely try again to hopefully get the feeling of Seriously Good Coffee that was lacking this time around.... So one more chance OK? Let's get it right next time. Fix the signs, calibrate the machines, get the grind right, improve the toastie, carrot cake and help disabled people by bringing order to the table. That's about...

This place should be given the once over by the Licensing Board. The tables are always seemingly dirty with the previous customers mess etc ...I have struck this on all 4 occassions I went there so "no" its not pure coincedance.It has the potential to be a very good money spinner for a switched on operator ...needs some "senior" staff in attendance to supply leadership and direction. ALSO !!! Coffee is best consumed in glassware/ceramics not "paper" OK !!! I know the tree huggers and the greenies are running the world atm BUT they certainly "aint" operating my wallet ...SO !!!!!! I will no longer be using this business when I attend the mall 4 x a week.My advice if you want COFFEE experience head across the road to the collection of businesses near Bunnings.If the untidyness persists too long I will contact the JCC Health Dept for an inspection.PLEASE DONT BLAME COVID or STAFF SHORTAGE...If you cant keep it clean...

I haven't had the food, but today I had a vanilla iced latte with oat milk, and it was the best iced latte I've had in a long time. The price was about average for a cafe beverage. The person behind the counter was alone and the cafe was busy, so it was a short wait before we were served, but once he was free we were greeted in a very friendly manner. I'll be treating myself to another next time I go to...
