Such a great cafe in this little town. Both food and drinks are great. Their paella definitely worth the value. It cooked within the small pan that serve to customer. This one person paella had lots of chicken breast, chorizo and few prawns, I had never seen so many protein within such a small paella serving. And each ingredients cooked to perfection. Paella rice also cooked to perfection too and tasty. It also served with flatbread and salsa. This is a really big serving for one person. The chicken burger, the chicken is crunchy outside and moist inside. Very tasty because it used chicken filet. The only thing missing is the typical Korean sauce. But overall, it is just a nice chicken burger. The coffee and hot chocolate are also locally sourced. This cafe had lots of small tables and limited big table. Also have outdoor seating. Their decorations are very unique. Lots of different type of small pots to use as sugar pot. Will definitely come back for other menu, as their waffle also very famous. Plenty of parking nearby.

Local for 10 years but never eaten here. On holidays so decided rather than go away we would do day trips and/or eat out at places we have never tried. Glad we came. Had breakfast/brunch and enjoyed it so much came a second time in a week. Both weekdays so was more local than touristy weekends and no reservations needed (in morning at least). I had the big breakfast the first time that came with all the usual suspects. Very nice. Partner had the corn, capsicum and zucchini frittatas (x2) with an avocado salsa and poached egg (x2) on top. I had a taste and was impressed that my second visit I ordered that with an extra ($6.50) sausage. Then poached eggs were perfect with a lovely ooze of egg yolk when cut in to. On the second visit my partner ordered the scrambled eggs with toast. My drink was a fresh squeezed orange and pineapple juice (you can mix and match from a range of fruits). All in all will be back.

Gorgeous regional cafe. Really cute old converted shop front. Plenty of well dressed prosperous people here today. Nice and warm inside on a very cold day. Utterly gorgeous coffee here. Made strong with great flavour to a very high standard here. The quality would beat most places city, regional or country hands down. Bravo. We were passing through briefly and just had toast and vegemite and jam today. Incredibly delicious jam! The read was amazing too. The meals coming out looked excellent. We’re a bit sorry we didn’t have one. A lovely little cafe. Coffee, food and service terrific all round. Highly recommended.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!! It is one of the most disgusting and ill mannered cafes in the Macedon rangers! The staff are discriminative, nasty and extremely rude to customers! No guest service whatsoever. If you are looking for a better option in kyneton, Ruby Cafe or duck duck goose are much more worth investing your money in and supporting! The response from the owner is absolutely incorrect to what actually happened! They were demanding private medical information without even a greeting as I entered politely into the cafe! They are the only Cafe I have been to in the Macedon ranges demanding this since December 2021. As for the male making a coffee behind the counter claiming he is polite and respectful, he as not. He is not a doctor or medical professional. He has no right to view medical information regardless of the government says soo! He was condescending from the beginning which was what I was not happy about and proceeded to treat me like dirt. He said you can leave but I already made that decision the moment he asked for private medical1details. His actions were unacceptable and for a small business owner you’d think they would be a little more careful what they demand from customers as we are essentially his livelihood. I will be spreading the word to never support this business because of the ill mannered staff. We ended up at a much less discriminating cafe and had a wonderful rest of the day but the man making coffee thinking he’s some sort of god definitely ruined my mum’s birthday by causing a confrontational situation from the beginning. Very disappointed in the inaccurate response as multiple things be mentioned...

UPDATE! Came for lunch today to try the Parma burger, and it was top notch - juicy, great crispy house crumb and topped with delicious sauce, ham and cheese, and served with the mighty LS chips. Any pang of regret about this replacing the already epic smash burger was quickly forgotten. (Kyneton should really market a ‘burger crawl’ - between here, Donkey, Major Tom’s and K Hotel, we really are spoilt rotten for top burgers). While I’m here, got to mention the steak sambo as well - punchy onion relish, proper aioli and a perfectly cooked steak in a toasted ciabatta, what’s not to like? Usual enthusiastic service and welcoming vibe complete the trifecta 👏👏👏

Loved this place and its folk for a while now for their peerless coffee/breakfast/brunch/lunch game, but now they have added dinner and so the royal flush is the complete! We had fantastic starters of chicken tikka masala, and san choi bao. I fancy myself as a curry expert, and the wife likewise on East Asian, and we thought they were both top notch. Smash burger and parma were best in class as well, and subsequently we barely had room for the fine Aussie cheese, so we took it home! (Wee one had spag bol that got plundered a few times by the adults too, delicious as it was). Great local wines and spirits meant the liquid refreshment was to the same high standard as the food. Add a relaxed, nipper friendly, convivial atmosphere with attentive service and Little Swallow have proven that they deliver fresh and delicious flavours every time - breakfast,...
