Super Sushi Kyneton — Restaurant in Kyneton

Edit: I have put up with this for years but it is getting worse. At 12.30, the middle of lunchtime and surely the busiest time for them, they have maybe 3 type of sushi rolls left, and all of them vegetarian. They used to run out by 1.30, which was irritating but I'd just get there earlier. But 12.30???? What the heck!!!

Out of all the sushi places I've been, these guys top the list. They have just recently increased their prices, but not much and they have to make a living too. The brown rice is the best- try the tuna and avo and teriyaki chicken. Plenty of vegetarian options too. Their steamed pork buns are out of this world delicious and the Japanese curry is nice too. Super Sushi in Kyneton is an absolute vibe! Staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. I went for the Bento Box (OMG, a whole experience—so many yummy bits to try!) and also smashed a plate of 6 pork gyoza. They were perfectly steamed, super succulent, and totally tasty. The sushi rolls and nigiri were on point, perfectly held together and didn’t fall apart (major win). If you go, you HAVE to try the Bright Spark tea. It smells amazing, tastes even better, and is the ultimate cozy drink for a chilly day. 10/10, will definitely be back to this...

Absolutely disgusting food. Definitely not traditional sushi. The sauces in them were mayo and sweet chilli. Would never go or recommend to anyone. Also, I couldn't be 100% sure, but the following day, I had gastro (only myself, not our children or my husband). I had a prawn sushi roll, which hubby and kids didn't, and that was the only thing I had different to them for days. I didn't eat it all as it was one of the worst tasting things...
