Had dinner here tonight for our anniversary. The shop was pretty quiet, only one group of people other than ourselves when we walked in. We waited at the "wait to be seated" sign for a while until one younger waitress saw us, We were told to sit ourselves and she'd be over shortly. We ordered garlic bread, Lasange and a pizza. For a shop that was so quiet, we were surprised about the wait time. Eventually the Lasange and Pizza came out. The pizza was really pretty terrible. As much as I hate to say it, a $3 frozen coles pizza was better than what we had. My partner did say that he's lasange was nice though. After we had finished our dinner, we waited a little over 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared The waitress did eventually came over to our table, I asked if the garlic bread was on it's way, she said she would check. I asked her to just cancel the garlic bread as it wouldn't make sense to eat it after we had dinner. The waitress did offer me a free take away garlic bread, which we declined as it would have just been wasted. After this we waited an extra 10 minutes hoping to be asked if we'd like another drink or to order desserts, which didn't happen, Instead at this point, the only waitress left in the shop started cleaning up, So we just paid and left.
Not once were we asked if we'd like to order more drinks or asked if our meals were okay. We don't eat out much, and we don't go to fancy places, But even chain restaurants treat their customers...
Read moreMy husband and I came here 2 months ago for our Monday date night on 4 th Feb 2019. Took me a while to get over this disgusting experience to write a review. We ordered the Kickin chicken ribs for entree and my gosh it was almost really kicking! It was totally raw on the inside.I had already ate one which was slightly pink inside and then discovered the second one to be totally raw inside as I bit into it. We had it all served together and at this time we were halfway through our mains which were mediocre and we were turned off by the ribs. We called the waitress over which is also the one who cooked the ribs. Explained to her that it was raw and she said that she had double cooked it. And that she explained that she is a vegetarian and doesn’t know that it is still raw and that it was bad to be eaten. She probably doesn’t know how raw chicken looks like! Called over the manager who apologised and said that it has never happened before. I wasn’t impressed with this as I was also 5 months pregnant. The manager gave us a discount ( charged half price of what we had consumed ) less the chicken ribs. I am also disgusted that we even have to pay anything for this shocking experience! We will never come back again! Horrible...
Read moreWhat a truly strange experience. I went for lunch with my family, including two small children. We ordered our meals and when we asked about the splitting a milkshake for the kids, were told they "could make two small ones." 10 minutes passed and we had no drinks. We were one of two tables in the place. The waitress approached to tell us there was no chocolate for the shakes. No worries, kids are happy with vanilla. Our meals came out minus the garlic bread we'd ordered. It never came. The pizza was good. The best pizza I've had in town although that bar is low. These are a solid takeaway style pizza and the prices are good. The kid's pasta appeared to be partly precooked and then microwaved. It was dry or burnt on the ends. We'd ordered penne and received spaghetti. When I went to pay I had the phantom garlic bread removed from the bill but did find we'd been charged full price for two milkshakes. That was $18 for two small glasses of milk. The price and quality of the pizza make this a possible takeaway option because it was good but I couldn't in good conscience recommend anyone actually eat in here. Certainly not until the service improves to a level...
