I recently stopped by this donut shop, hoping for a quick treat, but I left feeling more frustrated than satisfied.
While the donuts themselves were decent, the experience was questioned by their excessive charges for paying by card. In today’s world, it’s hard to find anyone carrying cash all the time, and imposing extra fees for such a common payment method feels out of touch.
What’s worse, it seems like they’re framing this policy as a way to "support small businesses," but in reality, it just feels like an excuse to squeeze a few extra cents out of every customer.
I understand that transaction fees can be a cost for businesses, but this shop's fee structure felt downright excessive. If anything, it discourages customers from making small, casual purchases, which goes against the spirit of supporting local businesses.
While I wanted to like this place and its donuts, the card charges felt like a hidden penalty that left a bad taste in my mouth, and it makes me question whether I'll be back...

Now I can look forward to my afternoon dessert and perhaps my early lunch if I feel like a coffee. The girl that served me smiled and was genuinely happy to be there. Been a while since seeing an actual person love their job like that girl.
