To be fair. I have never given a 2 star rating, only 5 star ones. But this has been coming for a long time. This particular KFC is a hub for many suburbs. The line for drive thru on crucial times of day on crucial days is unacceptable. And don't thibk about ordering inside or eating inside. It feels dated and dirty. They should take a page out of the Woolworths playbook. I know because I worked for Woolworths when they did this. Inside the grand plaza the Woolworths was getting smashed. Too many people. It started leaving customers in a bad head space as they left. So Woolworths bought and refurbished and enlarged the old small supermarket right across the road. Now both Woolworths' do nearly do the same sales EACH, to what the one inside grand plaza was doing alone. Its because both shops are now so much more user friendly and can cater to a larger clientele. People who want to go shopping in the plaza at many shops can also finish off with getting their woolies groceries while having them across the road as well makes it convenient for those who just want to drop in to a convenient carpark and race in and just grab groceries with no fuss and not having to park at a big shopping centre. To KFC - Browns Plains Rd is the main strip obviously. I would find a way to put another KFC on the other side. Possibly where the bank section is, some of the banks have moved and the Bi-Rite Electrical building on the corner near the banks is empty. There is a McDonald's close to there and a Tavern and bottle-o on the other side. I know that area gets plenty of customer traffic and great fIow. Put a KFC on the opposite side of the road like I have just laid out for you and you will see sales rise as people can go to two convenient locations to get the KFC they crave. One store will be new, the original store can ne revamped with a refit, and then people will also want to eat in your stores two instead of just relying on that one painstaking drivethru. Thinking it through now, thats why so many of my orders in the drive through have been messed up, the staff are under too much pressure and are at a level where they have let their customer service slip and know they can get away with it because that drive thru gets extremely busy and hectic. Read moreAbsolutely DISGUSTED ! Went through drive through today, after waiting to be greeted and nothing, I thought I'd initiate the order hello?? Hello?? Even said hello in several different accents still nothing, the car behind me also trying to get their attention and nothing. So I drove to 1st window, I heard the girl say to another worker, "they just drove on through" I said to her when she opened the window "is your speaker working"? "Yes, you didn't wait long enough" was her reply, and then told me I had to drive around again to be served, I said are you serious? She said yes my manager said so.
Instead I drive to the car park, and decided to come in store to order, I placed my order and then waited near 20 minutes to recieve my order! I had other customers come in AFTER me and recieved their order BEFORE me!
I had to ask the kid behind the counter if our order was still coming???
In the meantime, other customers were bringing their orders back because it was wrong, some guy couldn't use the toilets because the toilet door was locked, and had to get an employee to unlock it, (I've never seen a kfc lock their toilet door)
Anyway, by the time we got our food, it was cold, I was cranky for having to wait too long, the poor kid who served me was that embarrassed for me and the long wait, he was hiding behind the end of the counter because he had done his job and everyone out back was holding him from doing his job because they're unorganised and food clearly not ready for him to pack.
This place needs an overhaul, customer service is crap. Food is crap, I will NEVER be back to this particular store.

Read moreWent through the drive through at 1pm Friday 13th December. The person that took our order over the speaker box was so rude. We were ordering our food and she kept cutting us off then gave us the total but we hadn’t even finished ordering (only 2 meals) we said we had more to order and she was really rude and didn’t even ask what drink we wanted.
We got to the window to pay and said something to the young girl about how rude the person was and she did not even care all she said was that wasn’t me that took the order it was my manager. She gave us drink that were hot and when we asked if they had cold ones she sighed and said that she had just filled the fridge up. We asked which drinks were cold and once again this seemed too much to ask.
We then went up to collect the food and confirmed who actually took our order over the speaker and the girl confirmed it was the manager we said her how rude both the people were that had served us and she apologised and was very lovely. She asked if we wanted to speak to the manager but we said what’s the point when the complaint is about her. She won’t do anything about it.
