Stacey the counter / drivethru person had the worst service, no smile, slow and a clear no care attitude from her body language. She delivered an order that was placed well after mine to a customer that was clearly a family member of the managers on duty as the manager presented with her own bank card to pay for the ladies order. Stacey clearly had no sense of urgency with doing anything and or empathy towards my complaint about my wrap being incorrect. I placed an order for BBQ Big Brekky Wrap, it didn't have the hashbrown on it, went to the counter to have my order fixed, she gave me the correct wrap but it didn't have BBQ sauce on it. The wrap was slapped together falling apart. The attitude of the boy in the kitchen wasn't much better, responded in a way that the fact he had to make another wrap was more of a pain than worrying about the satisfaction of the customer and his attitude was present in the presentation of the food he was making. Slapped together no care attitude. This was the same for the brekky burger that I ordered for my daughter. I just ended up eating my wrap without going back to get it corrected again as I had already waited 20 minutes or more for my order to given to me in the beginning. The atmosphere was so cold and chilling, the staff on shift clearly not happy or bubbly nor welcoming. Hungry Jacks needs to do better in general as this is how it is for majority of the stores I go to. I was patiently waiting at the counter to be served as it appeared no one was around or possibly busy attending to drive thru orders however a staff member came from within the store and was served immediately by the on duty Manager meanwhile after I gave a look of despair to the person who was meant to be serving on front counter (if you can call them a customer service person) I was finally acknowledged and asked if had been served. I replied with no I haven't and my order was taken.
Upon receiving my order burger was stone cold and looked rather unappealing and slapped together like it was meant for the rubbish bin and dripping in sauce, returned to the counter and had burger replaced. Fresh burger was made and it was actually warm as you'd expect it to be.
Store has no ice therfore drinks were warm but you don't expect them to be flat but going from the staff's understanding the ice apparently is what gives soft drink bubbles when I thought it was to do with carbonation, after several attempts at trying to explain the above to staff we finally spoke to the Manager on duty to which they tried the soft drink themselves and agreed it was flat and distasteful. Manager replaced drinks with something else of our choice.
Going from the above unpleasant and disappointing experiences with everything from service, food and general ambience of the store I would never return. I understand customer service these days is not like it was or used to be however at this particular store it's non existent. You'd think average customer service at minimum...

How do I still give 3 stars , but only 2 stars for the food ?
Put quite simply - The burgers do Taste better @ hungry Jack's .
We ordered 2 hunger tamer meals & the Grill Master Brooklyn Angus .
It's insane that this was better than GYG only a day earlier, but honestly, it was less of a disappointment, and the service was 100 times better than GYG.
Okay, the service was efficient, and we got through the drive-through within 5 minutes.
The Chips were also on point, and man, how often aernt they even close to hot right?
I was almost tempted to drive back through and order more fries, they were that good!
You know, if they were consistent with cooking their chips as you go, they may actually be the best fast food chain fries money can buy these days .
Again, the nuggets were also freshly cooked and well seasoned. As to were the chicken burgers, and these couldn't be faulted .
I, however, was having the Grill master Brooklyn Angus burger, and this wasn't up to par .
Whilst it presented well, it was completely cold . I was quite annoyed at this point as only a day earlier I had experienced similiar ordinary food standards from GYG.
I was contemplating nuking it in the microwave, but I thought better of it & just ate it as it was . The burger actually tasted damn good, and it had the perfect amount of mayo, lettuce, pickles, and cheese on it, even the brioche buns were lovely and fresh 😋
So, it's a bugger about the temp, really, as this review could have quite easily been a 5 star...
