KFC Beenleigh — Restaurant in Logan City

Absolute joke.

Placed order online for cheap as chips meal.

Got to the first window after 10mins of waiting. Was advised no potato gravy at first window, that was fine just asked for a plain gravy.

20minutes later got to the second window, young lady advised sorry sir we have no hot n spicy chicken can we give you original. I refrained from getting upset after waiting so long.

I asked kindly if they would supply Zinger fillets instead which has been done before but was told no they won't do that.

At this point I'm getting a tad annoyed, cars behind me were beeping their horn and hurling abuse out there windows as they too had been waiting ages.

I then requested my money back, sorry sir we can't give you your money back. I questioned the response I was given as this had never been a problem before. Apparently procedures have changed and no longer able to do it.

Happy to take money that's not yours and I drive away with nothing.

The staff member took my details so the issue could be resolved with an on duty manager tomorrow. Bet nothing gets done about it.

KFC if you can't supply orders, don't take them. Sort your inventory and change your processes.

If I paid by credit card which you can clearly see, then you should be able to return to my card.

What a pathetic experience and a waste of time.

I then went to Eagleby to place the same order.

Before ordering online this time, I confirmed if they could supply the order before ordering based on my previous experience at Beenleigh.

I was then told sorry sir we have run out of chicken.

I had to drive away as this just became amusing.

I called the manager last night.....not sure he was really going to try and change things but anyway here's what happened...I went through drive through and spoke with a girl.....I ordered a zinger burger was told there was none. I then said I will have an original burger was told there was none. I asked do they have any chicken? She said I can put some tenders in a burger for you. I decided it would have 2 x wraps. I asked for a 4 pack of original pieces she said it have 2 wait 8 mins. I said not to worry about it just the wraps will be fine. I got to the window to pay and she said sorry about that we had a rush. I said this is the 3rd time id been here and it has happened every time. I just haven't complained before. I said that they may need to review their ordering to ensure they have enough chicken. She then said I could of had the zinger burger just had to wait???? I asked her is she was for real...... I asked her if she took my order at the speaker she said yes.....I then asked her why she told me there were no burgers? I would of been happy to wait for a zinger burger to be cooked had she told me that. She just looked at me.....I also ordered a med chips. I got home wraps were good although chips had 10 in it and were not fresh all hard and not edible. The manager offered to replace I said not to worry wasn't complaining for that just wanted him to understand what this girl had done. Bad customer service at this store last night. I don't like to complain normally I work in retail I know things can go wrong at times but this girl needs to learn some skills on customer...

Congratulations KFC Beenleigh. You've just earned the first one star review I've ever given. Yet I feel that even one star is generous. I have the misfortune of forgetting about once every 2 year why I avoid this store, yet driving through and being told that they were out of chicken with a 30 min wait normally starts to jog my memory. When I did get my pack (which on the surface sounded like reasonable value), I received, in what was supposed to be 6 pieces of chicken, 4 pieces of chicken, an extra tender, and what looked to be the chicken from a burger. The tenders were..well, arguably tender, the same way you would expect a corpse that has been in a river for 2 years to be. It had about the same consistency and flavour as well. The nuggets were so limp that they had trouble supporting their own weight and shape when picked up, and the chips were, without a doubt, the worst I've eaten, including the time I ate some from a bin on a dare. I am constantly amazed at the line of custom trawling through your drive-through, as if the good denizens of Beenleigh are simply unaware of what they are about to experience. This business is a joke, a disgrace to retail, a disgrace to fast food, and frankly it makes me angry just thinking about it. We, as a family, have made a solemn pack to ensure that we never, ever, come to this...
