I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill in Logan, and let me tell you, it was an absolute treat for my taste buds! From the moment I walked in, the energetic atmosphere and sports-themed decor set the stage for a fantastic dining experience.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the chicken parmigiana. This classic dish was a true masterpiece, with a thick and juicy chicken breast perfectly breaded and topped with a generous portion of flavorful tomato sauce and melted cheese. Every bite was a delightful combination of tender chicken, tangy tomato, and gooey cheese. The portion size was generous, leaving us feeling satisfied and content.
While the noise level was a bit higher than we anticipated, we fully expected it as The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill is primarily a bar and a hub for sports enthusiasts. The vibrant energy and lively chatter only added to the overall ambiance, enhancing the experience of being in a lively sports-centric setting.
The service was friendly and attentive, with the staff ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, making us feel well taken care of.
Apart from the delectable chicken parmigiana, the menu at The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill boasts an extensive selection of appetizers, burgers, steaks, and other pub favorites. The variety is impressive, catering to different tastes and preferences. I couldn't help but notice the diverse range of craft beers and signature cocktails available, making it an ideal spot for those looking to unwind and enjoy a refreshing drink.
Overall, our experience at The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill Logan was exceptional. The flavorful chicken parmigiana, friendly service, and lively atmosphere combined to create an unforgettable evening. If you're in the mood for delicious food in a vibrant sports bar setting, look no further than The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill.    Read moreAmbiance We came here Monday night and it is not as busy as any other day. I like how they're just playing sports everywhere. The volume was so low that you can actually hear each other talk and not shouting.
Its a little bit too cold inside the restaurant so we opt out sitting outside, which is not so bad.
Food We ordered Bites and Ribs, S&P Calamari, Cheeseburger Loaded Fries and their Greens for the side. I'll give the food an overall 3.5/5.
Bites - The amount of chicken bites for a price of $12.50 is very decent since it's a half price, but I would not buy it for a full price of $25. The chipotle and roasted garlic flavour is very complimenting to the ranch sauce. Just wish they made the dip enough for the bites. We had to order extra dip for it.
Ribs - The full ribs for the price of $25 is really good as well. It's a little bit dry but the hickory sauce makes it a little bit better. The coleslaw side tho needs a bit more mayo, it feels like it is just a side of cabbage.
S&P Calamari - i rate this 4/5. i am not too sure if the calamari are suppose to be a bit soggy or crunchy?? the pepper is not really overpowering, and you can actually taste the squid.
Loaded fries - the fries are a little bit burnt and dry. But i like it though. It's crunchy. However, there is just too much mustard sauce and less of the meat patty.
Greens - I was expecting that there be atleast plenty of veggies for this side. But $10 for this side is not really ideal for me. But it's a 5/5. The garlic butter is just enough to coat the veggies and the seasoning is not too much.
Service // Staff The service is amazing. Paige was very patient taking my order and explaining their special or promo for the day. She served us smiling the entire time. Not pressuring us to order quickly or stressing us out. I'll give her 5/5 for customer service.
Overall, I'll give this a 7/10 and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Though, you might have to book a table ahead of time to get the best seat...
Read moreMy family of 5 arrived for a Saturday lunch without a booking. We were deciding between Nandos a couple of stores down or The Sporting Globe, we chose The Sporting Globe to âtreat ourselvesâ. We were seated quickly and noticed it was quite busy, all good we were happy to wait a little time for food. We ordered through the QR code. Drinks came promptly. Kids food came promptly. My family was absolutely freezing from the aircon and wanted to leave, but 3 main meals hadnât come yet and it had been 1 hour. I went up to the bar for a second drink for myself to get me through till our meals came. Big line. I was next in line for a drink after waiting 15 minutes in the bar line, while continually glancing over at my family to see if our food had come yet as my kids had been done with their meals 30 minutes ago. Some old bloke had cut the line and pushed in front. The bar man saw, but served him before me, rude. Dirty glasses and jugs lined the bar bench, gross. The 3 main meals finally came out. We check what time we ordered on the app, 1 hour and 15 minutes has passed. Before we left, I asked the waitress for our kids football included in the kids meal, sorry none left. $250 wasted on feeling uncomfortably freezing, waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for food of small portions, people cutting in line for drinksâŚshould have...
