UPDATE FOLLOWING BUSINESSES RESPONSE: Your own employee, was the one who advised me that the price of a roll with cheese and basic salads was $11.30 and that is what she charged me. No pricing is displayed in store on your signage - hence why I had to ask before ordering.
Perhaps you should spend less time, writing passive aggressive responses to review and simply fix your obvious internal problems with payment processing and staff knowledge and customer service. Imagine being shocked and enraged to get a review from a customer, upset at being ripped off.
Sauer’s isn’t what it used to be and as someone born and raised in Maryborough, it’s sad to see an iconic store run into the ground like this.
Poor and extremely slow service.
Prices are grossly inflated and don’t offer value for money. $11.30 for a cheese and salad roll (the basic salads only) is obscene. In Brisbane my local bakery sells cheese and salad rolls for $5.50 or with ham, roast chicken or corner beef, for $6.50. Food is tasty, but the pricing and service renders the overall experience here, simply not worth it.
I grew up walking to your store for my favourite custard tarts. I don’t recall the last time you EVER had these in stock. Apparently catering to demand isn’t one of your skills.

Read moreJust wanted to give Sauers a 5 star heads up, I called in today to get my favourite custard tart and pie and they didn't dissapoint. Just as I remembered them years ago. The staff were polite and eager to help me get just what I wanted, I think they might be the cheapest bakery I've been to in a long time. Great job everyone. When I travel back this way again I'll be back. Oh and just reading through a few comments and I notice one customer not very happy. Read morePoor service. I wenty to the drive in today with my elderly parents in the car. Waited, waited and waited to put in my order, even said "Hello?" a number of times. Walked to the window, tapped on the window, a staff member saw me and ignored me. Back to the car "Hello?" again, no response. Left to take my parents home instend of them sitting in a hot car. Came back to the drive through, prompt service this time and relayed my grievance to the staff member when my order arrived, just got "heres your change, have a good day?.
