Not Another Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Maryborough

We visited here early in 2024, then again in January 2025 on a return visit to Maryborough to check out real estate. We had a mercy stop at the police station to care for a couple of children while the mother collected items belonging to her husband who had died in a recent road accident. Andrew brought refreshments to the vehicle for the children which was much appreciated on such a hot day. My wife and I then stayed for lunch including coffee for me, of course, and Earl Grey tea for Jean. We expect to move to Maryborough about mid-year, and are looking forward to get to know you better. "Not Another Coffee Shop"? No, but rather; "Not JUST Another Coffee Shop". Your service that day went above and beyond. Thank you so much for your service and support in a time of need. I just stopped in for a coffee at Not Another Coffee Shop. As I hopped in, I hopped out with a little bop, and danced in the best coffee shop because this wasn’t just another or any other coffee shop—it was rocket fuel for my soul. The cup was massive, the taste was magic, and halfway through I considered, learning Spanish, and magic.

The owner? Top bloke, a legend, no joke, He’ll hand you a flat white before I even spoke. Could help you move house, fire up the grill, And still pour a coffee that gives you a mad thrill.

This cup’s not a drink, it’s a rocket to space, Reboots your whole vibe, puts a grin on your face. Unlocks dance moves you thought weren’t in line, Walk in half-asleep, walk out feeling divine.

I think I've reviewed almost all of the coffee shops around Maryborough now, and have been pleasantly surprised by most if not all of them. Not Another Coffee Shop is no exception: the coffee was great, the service was quick and friendly, and the location is handy (a little noisy with the traffic nearby but overall not too bad). We were even given a complimentary bottle of water when we were nearly done with our lattes. Only complaint is they're currently not open Friday thru Sunday, but other than that keep up the good...
