Food: Pizza was absolutely amazing, both the gluten and gluten free crust was delicious, both in texture and taste. I ordered the truffle pizza, quite strong but the raddicchio on top cut through the intense umami flavour. My brother ordered the meatball pizza that came with chips on top and our consensus was that the chips weren't the best and did not add anything to the dish. Came here for pizza not chips.
Service: We came in on a Saturday night without booking and got a table after a 15 minute wait. Service was quick, our drinks were given promptly, the waiters and waitresses noticed when our water was running low and gave us a new one, so our mouths were never dry! Food was served together and the wait wasn't too bad.
Atmosphere: Active and vibrant, the only complaint is there was an open door and we were a little chilly even though we were sitting inside.

Read moreProbably the best gluten free pizza I've had. My partner is gluten intolerant, I have no dietary requirements but I obviously share meals with my partner and have had my fair share of gluten free pizza bases. We ordered the Bunga Bunga and Gnocchi Napoli, the pizza was exceptional, obviously the pizza topping was delicious but I just can't get over the springiness and lightness of the pizza base. The Gnocchi Napoli was probably the wrong pairing for the pizza but it was still delicious. In all honestly I would skip the gnocchi and order two pizzas instead! We shared a non alcoholic refreshment which was a lemon lime and bitters, it was lovely and I wish I asked what brand it was.
We dropped in without a booking and was lucky there was a table. The servers were friendly and knew what they were doing. The wait for...

We also tried the San Daniele and Doppio Salame pizzas, which unfortunately arrived warm rather than hot, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The flavours were fine but not particularly memorable, especially given Melbourne’s strong competition in the pizza and Italian space.
Overall, A25 didn’t quite hit the mark for us. For the price point, we were expecting a bit more polish and attention to detail – something that many other Italian spots around Melbourne do really well. It wasn’t a bad meal, but not one we’d...
