I've been coming here weekly ever since they opened and have been contemplating if I should write this review but after last experience I felt compelled to. To the average person I'd be considered a "regular loyal customer" if I've been coming here weekly for years right? Yet none of the staff have ever acknowledged me or would know my name because they haven't cared to know. Last week the head waitress who i believe is also the owner (short brown hair shoulder length bob) seems too interested in saying hello to her friends and serving them coffer that worrying about serving other customers. I sat there waiting for my coffee while she served her friends first who arrived after me. When I heard "coffee up" she went to get my coffee and delivered it to me like I was an inconvenience interrupting her conversation with her friends. To say it was hurtful and disappointing would be accurate. I'm not sure why she works here if the love isn't there for her job or maybe she just works there for something to do. I'm not sure but she is making her customers feel like they don't matter and is only working to serve her friends who by the way were a pain in the bum to sit next to anyway. Obnoxious people. This place serves great food and coffee but what is that worth if there is no soul? Where is the love and care for your local and loyal customers? People will start moving their morning coffee to Poyntons or elsewhere if the disregard and arrogance continues. Please step up your service Aberfeldie Salumeria. I have lived in Aberfeldie for almost 70 years and have spent probably thousands of dollars at your Cafe and yet you wouldn't even notice or care because I'm not one of your Italian Gucci wearing friends? Please don't discriminate an old...

Who needs boring old health regulations when you can dine elbow-to-tail with someoneās French bulldog licking its bits under your table? A truly authentic Italian experience ā if Italy suddenly forgot food hygiene exists.
Kudos to the management for bravely redefining "hospitality" by welcoming animals indoors. After all, who wouldnāt want a schnauzer sniffing the salami board before you do? And to the self-righteous patrons who think this is perfectly normal ā congratulations! Youāve officially confused a cafe with a dog park.
Canāt wait to return next time I forget how public health works....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI normally order Panino Polpette via UberEats ( itās so yum! Generous portion, fresh bread and delicious meatballs in a perfectly balanced sauce ) but decided to pop in and try other dishes not available via UberEats.
Chicken Cotoletta was perfectly crusty outside and juicy inside, with a salad that was paired so well, those orange segments took the dish to the next level. I donāt know how ( it was a large portion for me ) but I managed to finish the dish, it was that good! Loved the coffee.
I was keen on tiramisu but was so full already, so staff recommended to have half at the cafe and packed the other half in a take away container. Perfect solution š
All staff were actually very friendly, helpful and lovely. Will be back for...
