ORDERED Oct 2023: 🌭 Banh Mi Crispy Tofu [Đậu Hũ Chiên Giòn]: With pate, butter, pickle carrot, cucumber, spring onion, coriander (11.00) 🌯 Hanoi Crab & Prawn Spring Roll (2pcs) ($12.00)
I paid $23.35 for my portion which included card surcharge.
REVIEW: ➖ The banh mi with crispy tofu had too much soy sauce saturating one side of the banh mi. The veggies aren't distributed that well either, so it was an interesting experience that I would not care to repeat! ☺ I may give their other breads a try though.
✔️ Hanoi Crab and prawn spring roll was still delicious! It comes with generous portion of fresh salad that was great to break down the oiliness. Definitely could've gone without it to have a lighter lunch - especially when the banh mi is enough for one portion. ORDERED Jun 2023: 🍝 Hanoi Crab and Prawn Spring Roll: served with vermicelli noodle, herbs and fish sauce ($20.00)
I paid $21.20 here which includes a card surcharge.
REVIEW: ✔️ The amount of 2 spring rolls look deceptively small, but they're chunky enough to bite into two. Essentially, you'll take about 6 - 12 bites to finish this dish!! I think there was a reasonable amount of spring rolls. ✔️ I found the prawn spring roll delicious. Served with fresh herbs that give it more flavour and leafy cabbage, it gives that much needed additional freshness. The fish sauce is a classic, but the sweet chilli sauce was a welcome touch to complement the prawn spring rolls! 👌 ❌ The only part of the dish I can fault is the crab spring roll, which I felt like was lacking a little flavour.
✔️ The interior is great and intricately designed. Chalk paintings on the wall add texture, while the colourful lanterns floating above on the second floor give me Hoi An Lantern Festival vibes. 🌸
➖ Unfortunately staff provided me a dirty bowl to have the noodles in, with dried rice crusted on the corners. I'm assuming it had been washed in high heat in order to dry out the rice like that. I flagged it to the staff on my way out - it didn't bother me at the time (lunch rush things) - but more so to raise the staff's awareness. They were super apologetic and dismayed, so I would encourage you to let the staff know if there's feedback in order to make your...

The interior design is stunning, featuring beautiful wall art and Vietnamese-style decorations that enhance the atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and provide excellent food recommendations. Every dish we tried was Superb! The pho was particularly exceptional—the broth was rich and flavourful, clearly reflecting the time and effort put into its preparation. I also highly recommend the Hanoi crab and prawn spring rolls, as well as the Bun Cha Hanoi, which is vermicelli noodles dipped in a thick, savory pork broth. Both dishes were delightful and bursting with flavour. For those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages, the lychee mojito is a must-try! It's a perfect blend of sweet, sour, and minty flavors that I absolutely love! Overall, this dining experience was memorable, with excellent food and...
Read moreCriminally underrated Vietnamese restaurant near Docklands. Not sure why more people don’t come and visit here. For a group of 4, we ordered the Pho and Ribs combo, which was at a great price. The ribs were fall-apart tender and had great flavor. The papaya salad that accompanied it was light side we all enjoyed, not overpowering at all unlike how other restaurants do it. The pho broth was also very light, not overly seasoned and had a clear broth too. We also ordered the special chicken fried rice, which came with a very nice wok-hey flavor to it, amazing! The “shaking” beef was a really good dish. However I do feel like it was a little less in quantity than we’d liked. The Vietnamese coffee drink I ordered was fantastic too. Overall this is a very solid restaurant with great prices. Highly recommend visiting here. Also note that there are...
