Car Museum... sounds promising, but sadly 50% of it was a grotesque display of what excessive wealth can do, 8 various models of modern Porsche all custom ordered in a specific shade of blue, to colour match Lindsay's Grandson's watch! FFS. We limped our little 1966 original and imperfect corvette all the way to the city, we love her, we are preserving her and are super proud to drive her. A museum should showcase historical automotive gems, not be a platform to show off one mans ability to order every modern prestige car he wants in a monochromatic display of self importance. As a side note, nobody appreciates a lecture from volunteer staff member about how global warming is a...

If you're into exotic and classic cars, then this is a MUST visit for locals as well as visitors to Melbourne. Over 60 beautiful and magnificent car's on display that are constantly updated, set in a unique heritage warehouse with easy access to all facilities and levels, and also very clean - And includes FREE on site car parking. And there's plenty of volunteers and car aficionados on hand to have a chat with too. Bravo Mr Lindsay Fox, and your a great Australian and humanitarian and a generous man 🦊 And thankyou for making these car's available and sharing your passion with the public🙏 Allow an hour or two to take it all in, and all proceeds go to Charity. Wow, Mr. Lindsay Fox and family, that's an amazing collection of incredible cars! It's great to be up close to these works of art... I'm probably never going to own a Ford GT or Ferrari.... or a Monet! (You lucky Bugger)! When my GF and l left the building... walking down your path... we talked about how lucky we'd been to be in the company of Alan D. one of the Collection's Volunteers... wonderful and informative stories about each of the cars... and l certainly challenged him on some of them! Alan's of man of gentlemanly humanity and delightful intelligence... what a pleasure!

I can't speak more highly about our experience of the cars and Alan... what a day.

After hearing about and driving past this place for years I finally found the opportunity to actually visit. It’s great! There are about 50 cars on 2 levels in a lovely old building - there’s a lift as well as stairs - and what a collection! Some very rare stuff and some of the most beautiful cars ever made. There are volunteer guides who can answer questions, there’s a bit of merch for sale and there was a video playing upstairs with interviews with Lindsay Fox and others talking about the collection. There’s free parking on site too, when I was there, on a Thursday, there were only 2 cars parked there.

Amazing selection of cars and a great back story…. The volunteers were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. On a wet and windy day we arrived 15 min early and they were still setting up but let us in to get out of the weather…… From Supercars to concepts to Australian motoring history to Victor Changs’ custom 190…….. time well spent for sure. Getting to know the history and mindset of Lindsay is a great part of the experience. If I had to find an improvement opportunity…….. add a stubby holder to the merch lineup… lol. Still walked. Away with a tee and a cap!
