The area was great, restaurant was lovely and clean - very aesthetically pleasing. The server tried as much as he could to explain dishes and put in effort. We were the only people in the restaurant as it wasn’t busy - which was nice Fried Calamari - was very nice and tasted very fresh, really enjoyed it with the salad it all went well and complimented each other. Very tasty! Thai Fried Rice / Veggie - was an average Thai fried rice, had a very unique taste Somtum Salad w/ Grilled Chicken - the sticky rice was well cooked, salad was okay tasted average, the grilled chicken was the most I was excited about as it would have had a tonne of flavour however that wasn’t the case. The chicken was undercooked unfortunately, when I had told the server, he immediately took the chicken to the kitchen for inspection and then had returned to me explaining that it was the “marinade”. Does this honestly look like marinade to you? The chicken is a bit too pink and undercooked for it to be any type of marinade. It’s very clear to see and wish they had owned up to their mistake instead of trying to cover it up. They did offer me a fresh new dish however I refused after seeing what I had been served. We ordered two drinks from the menu which were pressed juices. I would highly recommend the juices. They have an amazing taste. What seemed to be weird to me was while seeing the uncooked chicken he had to still call his manager because I didn’t want to pay for the meal as it’s not up to food standards. They had given me $20 off the bill which was nice. Overall I highly doubt I’d be back for more. Was an interesting experience and hope the chefs/ manager take this review serious and really take their time with the cooking Also I have left a review on Zomato, which there the owner was being rude and telling me to check my "facts" on PINK CHICKEN. He claimed that he chef and "restaurant" were aware of how they cooked their chicken, however like i had said earlier they actually said it was "marinade" (PLEASE TELL ME IF THAT LOOKS LIKE MARINADE). Please be careful of this place & the owner as i have read many reviews about people struggling with the customer service of this place.

I ordered a Vegetarian Spaghetti pad Kee Mao. It wasn’t too bad, although as a stir fry noodle it doesn’t have that wok hei (fiery breath of a wok) and the peppercorn flavour was overpowering. The pad kee Mao was a bit spicy (ok for me) but they should really have specified which dishes are spicy (like putting some 🌶 ranking) cos it was quite spicy for my friend she couldn’t even finish it. Also everything felt a little bit overpriced. What I want to comment about was the service of this place. The three of us came to eat at @thaithanidocklands and was given a three person table with stools. I explained to the server that my friend had a back injury and cannot sit on a stool and whether we can sit at a table with couches and chairs with backing. She gave me a black face 🌚 and lectured me that those tables are for four people, not three, and proceed to slam two tables together for us. She also lectured if we were to do this on a Thursday or Friday, they won’t be able to give us a table. I was secretly thinking: well, I won’t come back ever again anyway, so you don’t have to worry about getting us a table again 😝 Funnily enough I saw a guy sitting by himself in a two person table and didn’t get told off. .. Also side note they weren’t even full by the time we got out ... maybe they scared too many away with their rude service 😛 I will go back to Pok Pok if I am in docklands next time... at least they give you real thai hospitality.

TLDR Full review: Had a catch up lunch with friends during a week day. We had a reservation and pre-ordered our meals. The robot "waiter" arrived with our entrees 10 minutes after our reservation time, which I was impressed with. There were no mistakes with the dishes served to us. However, I had to get up and make my way to the POS counter in order to ask for a new carafe of water. Similarly, the wait staff did not pay any attention to us so if we needed additional crockery or cutlery, we had to go to the counter. Food was tasty. I ordered the chicken pad se-ew and the egg yolk ice cream with sweet corn and roasted peanuts. There was nothing wrong with either dishes but not did they stand out in any way compared to other Thai restaurants. The restaurant was busy but there were still a few seats available. There is enough space between tables and seats for people to walk comfortably. We had a large table deeper inside the restaurant. There was another large table near us and it looked like the space we were in could be semi-closed off for an event.

Food overall is not bad, well when it ultimately arrives. And there's no guarantee you will get what you ordered and charged correctly. I went there with my team for lunch in Mar 2024 and felt the customer services has deteriorated since the inception of this place. They used to be good in the past. The four of us had to clarify our orders thrice (simple orders for each of us from the curry and stir fry sections). Our food arrived after about 40 min after 2 wrong attempts with someone else's order. On third attempt as well, one of the team members' was served curry with rice when the order was with roti. They said they can replace it with further 20 min wait so we didn't go for the change. Guess what though, we were still charged for the roti at checkout! Overall didn't feel like the management knew what they were doing with poor comprehension of English (they can have a number system on the menu card to mitigate language barriers), not particularly apologetic or remorseful on mixing orders and not even offering a discount, infact charging extra. It was not a pleasant experience, I wouldn't...
