I've been a regular at this restaurant for quite some time now, and I must say, the food is consistently delicious. Today, I opted for the burrito during lunch hours, as I often do. One thing that I always request is for them to cut the burrito and serve it in a box, which they happily oblige. However, what caught me off guard was the $1 charge for this service.

While the food quality is excellent, I found it a bit strange and honestly a tad annoying to be charged extra for something as simple as cutting the burrito and serving it in a box. This was only clarified when the entire ordering process was done, and payment was being made. It's a bit perplexing to see how restaurants have come to this point of finding ways to earn extra money. REVIEW: ✔️ Chilangos has a decent range of Mexican options. I appreciated that their hot sauce was actually spicy, leaving my taste buds tingling after the meal had long gone. 🥵

✔️ The food itself is decent. The brown rice is moist and well cooked, the salad has a smattering of onions, and the corn tomato salsa is great. They're pretty generous with their portion sizes, too! ☺️

I think Chilangos' dining in experience is much better. The ambience is nice, and there's some fun sombreros you could try and wear! 👑 ✖️ The takeaway aspect was a little lacking for me. The container feels very food-court, feeling quite flimsy and takeaway utensils leaving that strong cardboard flavour.

I ordered the Loaded Nachos with chilli corn carne ($17), and Chicken Wings marinated in chipotle served with mild salsa and sour cream (8 pieces for $16).
