The type of place everyone wishes was in their neighborhood. A place that is affordable for regular multi visits a week but also special & good enough for the special occasions. Great food, atmosphere and drinks. The broccolini was fantastic and something I would order every time I went. Pizza was great and they even made a dairy free one for my wife. My wife enjoyed her cocktail while I went off exploring some single malts. Arcadia has a large and varied selection of Scotch, Australian,Irish & Bourbon. Along with a large selection they have great pricing for whatever you feel like enjoying that evening. I have had hundreds of different whiskies but only a few Australian. The owner , Jon , was extremely knowledgeable and I gave him free rein to pour me whatever. He did not disappoint! Instead of going for high price point pours he showed off Loaded Barrel, a local distillery, and its profile range with its use of casks , malts & grains. Proving a well done local craft distillery can easily stand with and even surpass the large corporate brands. I honestly can say I loved my time at Arcadia and am very much looking forward to...

I’ve been coming to this amazing local whisky lounge for a few months since it was taken over by New management. I’ve brought friends along for drinks and dinner and I’ve come with my partner just for a night out.

Last night I attended a fantastic fun and interesting night at a whiskey tasting event at this local Speakeasy Arcadia Lounge. Thank you Jon and team for putting on such a great event and thank you to my friend Ari for bringing me to this interesting function. Scotty from Ned whisky explained the history of whisky and the process of making this popular drink with some great stories about the brand and how it’s marketed.

What a cheeky and fun venue! The atmosphere is bohemian, the service is friendly, cheeky, and impeccable. Food is quite good and is lots of delicious little plates to encourage swapping and sharing which we enjoyed quite a lot. Onto the main event though, the drinks. Everything in (and out) of the cocktail book has been perfectly prepared and simply delicious. Whisky of course is serious business and I'm sure you'll find several somethings there to tickle your fancy. The team there are also on hand to give some wonderful recommendations (hello spicy margs), and the amount of love and attention to detail that has gone into the venue is patently evident.
