The Bread Roll Shop — Restaurant in Melbourne

Tony and Joanne have the greatest family which are the backbone to their bread roll shop. They have kindly donated bread to a ministry called ""come to lunch"" at the anglican church in caulfield. Nothing is ever a hassle and after a few years they now donate to my small ministry called ""share the love"" I pick up bread and pastries once a week and break it up evenly and visit over 6 families in my neighbourhood.

Their protect is of true quality, innovation and very creative....their coffee on point but their foundation of customer service is beyond a leading example of excellence.

I have been a chef for 32 years and now a registered culinary judge, consultant and personal chef that spends alot of time with culinary magicians as they are at the breadroll shop....to be the best you must walk with steps of passion next to the best...

Thank you tony, joanne and staff for making the breadroll shop an establishment of pure finesse, quality and passion. Don't change a thing, because once passion is achieved you now just maintain consistency.

he Bread Roll Shop has one of the best almond croissants and nutella doughnuts I have ever tasted in my life. The atmosphere here is very inviting, the staff are so lovely, helpful and patient.

More on that almond croissant though... so many fluffy flaky layers with a ton of almonds on top. This beats as all the other croissants I've had, as the others have have come with only have a couple almonds sprinkled here and there. I came here again the next day and had every intention of trying other pastries but just couldn't and had to have another Almond Croissant, they are delicious!

I do recommend following their Instagram page to keep up to date on different flavors and different pastries they are crafting throughout the year!

You can't say you've had an amazing croissant without trying...

The bread roll shop is my local bakery, when I moved to the area five years ago and knew nobody they made me feel so welcome. Not only do they Make a great coffee, and great bakery options, doughnuts, loaf bread, sourdough, pies and sausage rolls, Sweet buns, fresh bread rolls with salad and meat fillings, you can pretty much get whatever you need from this bakery including a 2 L of milk to take home with your loaf of bread. Where I was going with this, is that Jo and Tony are just genuinely great people that own the bakery and they have super friendly staff...
