Belafonte Coffee — Restaurant in Melbourne

This little cafe is Ormond's best kept secret. Hidden in a cute arcade across from the train station and currently only open on Sundays, Belafonte offers delicious bagels and spreads at very reasonable prices. To spice things up, they also have specials running every week, the current special Matcha and White Chocolate Bagel with red bean paste is a winner.

All of their coffee beans are roasted in-house by Shane who is a seriously experienced Barista and Roaster. For filter coffee lovers, there is always something tasty on batch brew (the current washed Peru is awesome) and their decaf flat white totally changed my perspective on decaf. Been meaning to try this local cafe for a while. They only open on Sundays at the moment, possibly open on Saturdays in the near future is what the owner said. Hopefully soon because this place is definitely a hidden gem 💎! I ordered the fennel and flame with everything bagel. Chef kiss 💋 The house made chilli oil, cream cheese and everything seasoning blended together so nicely and tasted homey. The coffee was also stunning. Found this bagel bakery cafe from Instagram and they are only open on Sundays (we want more!!) Had the weekly special matcha white chocolate with anko paste and everything bagel with cream cheese and chilli oil. The bagel was really really good (both texture and flavour wise)! So I got distracted and only took photo of one bagel because I was too busy eating 😬 My favourite was the cream cheese with chili oil on everything bagel ♥️ Will definitely visit...
