Hell of an experience! I felt like I was in Izmir, enjoying a great night in my own country. That said, I want to highlight that this is an awesome place if you want to introduce Turkish culture to someone.

They’re booked out on weekends a couple of weeks in advance, so make sure to reserve your table. We were lucky to get one! Since we were visiting from QLD and only staying in Melbourne for a few days, we just knocked on the door—having no idea that an amazing night was waiting for us. Their friendly staff understood our situation and managed to organize a table for us in a fully booked restaurant. Thanks to them, we had an unforgettable experience.

Not sure what words to use to express the experience we had at Aysel. Good quality food, small but enough portions served at the best possible atmosphere. Aysel is where you get the best service. Very good management and all very well organised. If you’re familiar with Turkish culture and songs you would enjoy and if you’re not familiar, this is the best place to experience it. We are not from Turkey but have been to Istanbul before, this restaurant was like we were sitting in the middle of Istanbul being served in a clean, cozy, warm and full of joy environment. we went to Aysel last week and even though we were the only ones not from Turkey we did not feel this and instead we felt very welcome from both the business and the customers. We’ve already been to Aysel twice and enjoyed food, atmosphere, live music and belly dancing both times.
