Baked In Elwood Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Melbourne

I ordered a pick up Thai Chicken Pizza via door dash I was advised that my order was ready for collection when I arrived I was told just 10 minutes Sir and she began making my pizza. When questioned why 30 minutes after my order and payment was processed they were just making my pizza she made a comment about the driver I advised it's a pick up nothing to do with a driver. I then received my pizza I looked again at the menu and supposed ingredients after watching the pizza being made it was cheese chicken tossed in Thai dressing from a jar and strips of red capsicum, no bok choi , pine nuts, chilli or coriander it was bland and tasteless Baked in Elwood has gone downhill and is just cheap and nasty now never again !!

Your totally discraceful poorly worded response noted below, shows your complete disregard for your customers.

I do not need gold plates, but I do expect to get what is advertised and what I have paid for in a timely manner.

If you are aware it is Friday and you may be busy, then put on more than one staff member that clearly can't manage the operation.

When I am paying $25.00 for a pizza I do expect it to be of respectable standard. I also do not think I need to say thank you for sub standard service or quality.

You might also consider cleaning your establishment other than with a dity rag as you can tell by the floor and windows.

I've had frozen pizzas that are better. People rating this 5 stars are shills. There's no way this is even even 3 stars.

The crust/dough is garbage. The sauce is cheap. There's no love here. They must have been 'baked' making this trash.

Anywhere else is better...

UPDATE: This is the most pathetic response I've ever heard from any restaurant owner, not one ounce of self reflection. And making the weak argument my palate is the problem.

You think your as good as Topolino's? or i Carusi ii? Roccoco? Wise Guys, Holy Trinity? Oh wait, I thought I just eat 'frozen pizza'. Even 400 Gradi's Coles Pizza's are better than yours, Even Dominos & Pizza Hut is better than what you're doing.

Your pizza sauce tastes like Leggo's Tomato paste, Your toppings are lacking, your cheese is cheap and gross, and the crust, the most fundamental part, is mediocre.

You can sit here and lie, but the only one you're fooling is yourself. Instead of attempting some weak, condescending, poorly worded reply, try actually improve your craft. Drop your ego and do better. Actually look at the competition.

If your argument is "you eat frozen pizza" how does that dismiss the fact that your pizza is comparable to a frozen pizza? Maybe people who like this are habitual to eating frozen pizza.

I have been meaning to make a review for Baked in Elwood for a long time now and now I’m finally going to make it. I’ve been ordering from this place for over 4 years and I still order to this day, in fact I ordered from them the night I’m writing this! The food has never been anything less than perfect, the pizza is flavoursome, the wings are crunchy and fresh and the garlic bread is insanely tasty. Other than the food, the customer service is one of the best I’ve ever experienced, I ordered my usual chicken risotto and I have an option to take the mushrooms out because I’m a child and hate mushrooms. However, that night I forgot to select the take out mushroom option and submitted the order anyways, having only realised 10-15 minutes after ordering I realised the mistake I made and called them. The owner/manager of the store then had recalled my order and more impressively my name stating he “knows me as a vip” and I received the order just the way I like it.

Overall, insane service and even crazier food, love to order from here and will continue to...
