Purchased a wholemeal loaf from your Market Place, Berwick store because I know bakery bread stays fresher longer than supermarket bread. Very disappointed. Instead of a lovely fresh, moist, bouncy loaf I got a hard dry loaf that I would estimate to be beyond 3 days old, at least. definitely NOT a fresh loaf baked that day. I am of a bakery family and can tell the difference from fresh, day old and stale bread. Selling anything other than “fresh”, top quality product is bad for business. Cutting corners creates a bad reputation. Going forward when I’m visiting my mom in Berwick from north of Shepparton, I will purchase Woolworths home brand bread which I know is baked...

I have been buying BD bread for over 20 years a few house moves has meant I have bought from other BD outlets from time to time but I always come back to Berwick . Their bread is the very best with consistent high quality and they have not gone down the path of reducing the size of their loaves to boost their profits. I live in Pakenham but will travel to Berwick cos their bread is sooo good. Definitely not all BD...
