Lovely place to visit but worse place to deal with  if you decide to get married here. Very  Bad communication and when they do get back to you and when you do finally get a hold of them after 9 months of attempt it  is always someone different that you have to deal with. Instead of keeping your file on record they make you update a new file every time you speak to them. Let alone they never respond to your emails till the very last minute. There’s more to it but there is too many issues here if you were to get married here. Lovely place to sight see or a mini hike but i will not recommend getting married here. Last thing you’d want to do is stress and make it harder for yourself just to have a ceremony here. To top it off the lady that was there on the day of the wedding threatened us that we weren'tgoing to get our bond backcause the decorations people were late to pack up by 20 minutes. No damage done to the park. On the day of my wedding. We couldn't enjoy the rest of the wedding day because of her...

We decided to take the extended family to Wilson Botanic Park in Berwick on the weekend. Picnic rugs, drink supplies and enough food for all to enjoy. The last time we visited was approx 2 years ago and we loved it then a fad this time round we were not disappointed. We stayed at the middle level nice green open field area opposite a nice little lake with tons of wildlife around. The kids loved watching the ducks and other water fouls in the lake then to our surprise we saw some turtles. I didn’t realise we had a bale of turtles until we counted about 30. The kids loved watching then move around and poke their heads out of the water. Perfect weather, perfect place with the perfect people. I highly recommend visiting Wilson Botanic Park in Berwick to all. Very pleasant, safe environment and well maintained with enough things to do to keep the kids happy too, with the playgrounds scattered around...

It’s a beautiful park with lots walking trails, lakes, playgrounds and even bbq facilities, they also have a cafe stand ( make sure you buy your coffee early before you miss out😆) within the park. We love coming during the week when there are less ppl, because it can be challenging to find parking on the weekends especially on the nice sunny day! Thanks to my sis in law, rent a igloo in the park, it was a wonderful picnic experience!! You should really give a try😃 I would’ve give a five star if they can provide a better public toilets in the park especially nearby the igloo area, since we have elderly ppl, little ones, and also ppl with disabilities, it’s just too hard for them to use those portable toilets. But besides that, everything just perfect!!!( There are also other areas that has more appropriate public toilets where nearby the Playground and...

Wilson Botanic Park is a hidden gem tucked away in a tranquil, ancient volcanic valley. It's a cosy and well-maintained park—perfect for a relaxed picnic with family or friends. The landscape is peaceful and inviting, with open grassy areas, shaded spots, and plenty of benches. One of the highlights is the serene lake, which comes to life in summer with beautiful blooming water lilies—a real treat for nature lovers and photographers. There are also walking paths that weave through the park, making it easy to explore at your own pace. At the top of the hill, you'll find a charming wooden lookout tower. Climbing it rewards you with sweeping views of the surrounding area—especially beautiful on a clear day. Whether you're after a peaceful afternoon, a scenic stroll, or just a good spot to unwind with a picnic, Wilson Botanic Park is definitely worth a visit.

We visit regularly with our dogs as it's such a beautiful & relaxing place to go for a walk. The caretakers do a brilliant job with the plants & maintaining the property & most people who vist are respectful, clean up after themselves and dogs & follow all park rules. We have noticed that post-covid, numbers to the gardens have increased significantly so it can be hard to get a parking spot when the weather is warm & sunny. For those in Berwick South, there is an option to park at Federation Uni & take the shuttle bus. The walking tracks are suitable for different levels of mobility. There's a cafe to grab a coffee & light snack, BBQ area, children's playground equipment, three lakes, amphitheatre, picnic spots with tables, a lookout tower, sensory garden & so much more. Absolutely love Wilson Botanic Park.
