Bar Nacional — Restaurant in Melbourne

Short version - Rude service and expensive. A double shot margarita cost us 31 (18+13) and didn't even taste and look good. We were brought bill amd atm machine when we stopped ordering drinks for 10 minutes. Lomg version- I went there with a friend around 4 PM so not even busy. The waitress made so many mistakes and couldn't understand our requests, brought wrong drink, didn't explain food correctly. We had to constantly grab them to order food. Then from 5 when it got busy they kept coming to check if we want more drinks and quickly brought the bill and atm machine when we didn't order for maybe 10 minutes. I had never had such bad experience...

Really mixed experience. One waiter was friendly and his service was great, but the staff member who took our order and then managed our bill left a bitter taste in our mouth. We were a table of three -- with two ordering food and one just joining for a drink -- which we specifically stated when ordering the "Feed Me" menu. Long story short we were charged the Feed Me menu for three and when we disputed this, we were told that the whole table had to order it (we were never told this when ordering). We paid for three but will not...

Working across the road makes this bar the easiest destination for a post work drink. However, when that drink is cat's piss masquerading as red wine, it is hard to swallow. When informed of a possible problem with this particular bottle, rather than replacing it, the staff decided to argue with us over the finer points of wine tasting. Eventually we had to ask them to take it away, we were not given a refund. Trash place, trash staff. Can't wait for bin day! 1 star...
