I have read a lot of the reviews here and while everyone’s experience is different I can’t say I’ve encountered any rudeness. The lady who I think is being referred to, I think might be the owner. If it is the same person, she comes across as blunt more than anything. She’s friendly enough, just seems busy and isn’t very chatty. I think that’s just her personality. I haven’t experienced or witnessed any rudeness anyway. But moving on, I’ve been here a few times and each time the food was fantastic! We’ve had pizza and pasta and it’s always been authentic and so flavoursome and they use quality ingredients. It’s a cafe in an office building, not fine dining, so while the waiters don’t return after delivering your food I’m not really expecting them to (business people having quick lunches dont usually want dessert or a coffee after their meal) and I wouldn’t have an issue getting their attention if I needed anything. I mean the service is ok, and the food is delicious and the food quality is what brings me back to a cafe, not how friendly they are. I’ll...
Read moreLast Friday the lady manager was rude and we will not be going back to your happy hour on Fridays. I asked for some pizza as it is complimentary with the happy hour to be told that she was too busy to give me some and then she asked me where we were sitting and that she would find us but was told that we weren't allowed to sit behind the barriers. She never found us to give us some pizza and when I returned to the counter I asked if there was a reason why we were not allowed to sit behind the barrier as by that stage there was about 20 people doing the same thing and she told me that due to their liquor license they cannot serve alcohol beyond the barrier and then she put her hand up in the air and said by the way there is no more pizza. I never asked for the pizza when I asked that question and her comment made me angry. I will certainly not be recommending your happy hour to my colleagues at work or...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed by the blatant discrimination I witnessed and experienced at this coffee shop today. The older woman working here (who seemed to be in charge) spoke kindly and politely to local white customers but immediately switched to a cold, dismissive, and condescending tone when serving customers in different colour, myself included.
The difference in her behavior was unmistakable: she was cheerful and patient with some, yet rude and impatient with others based purely on their race. It’s unacceptable for any business to treat people this way in 2025 at the office building.
A coffee shop should be welcoming to everyone, but this kind of prejudice ruins the experience. I won’t be returning, and I urge management to address this issue immediately—no customer should ever feel disrespected because of...
