I’ve not physically been to this place yet since I’m in the US, but my brother lives in Yarraville. Due to the pandemic, we haven’t been able to see each other for 2 years now. Today is his 40th birthday and I wanted to do something special on his birthday. This wine bar has a great vibe and an even better wine list, one of our favourite spots when we visit this area.

But… the middle-aged blonde lady who often works here looks permanently fed up. Every! Single! Time! No matter how friendly you are, she comes across as rude and uninterested, like she’d rather be anywhere else.

It’s a shame, because everything else about this place is nice. A smile and a bit of warmth would make it perfect.
