Kids enjoyed the playground. Different options for different ages. A bit of wear and tear on some of the ropes (that will need replacing soon). The pic attached shows the most popular part of the playground. Needs a bit of oil. One aspect of the park was that it's an open space where people bring a lot of their dogs and let them run free. Which is fine for dog owners and their dogs. However, some dog owners are not great at keeping their dogs near them. We had a few dog visitors to the BBQ we were having and some dogs help themselves to people who were having a picnic. Not particularly nice. BBQ facilities were good. Park has public toilets.

Great park/garden area, good for kids to play and room to run around. Dog and kid friendly, couple of cricket pitches and batting nets (with matches on some weekends). Good sized equipment so doesn't get too crowded. Park good for picnics and group gatherings. Gardens have public toilets also.

I love this place to have a nice evening walk, this is so close to my home making me to come here everyday. They have good bbq spots too which are easy to use but over the weekends they are pretty much full so would suggest to hop in early to have a spot. It’s so good to spend time here

Yarraville Gardens, located in Yarraville, Victoria, is a cherished green space offering a tranquil retreat from the surrounding industrial areas. The gardens encompass multiple reserves, including Barbara Beyer Reserve and Hanmer Reserve, blending seamlessly to create an expansive area adorned with mature trees and open lawn.

Visitors appreciate the gardens for their serene environment, making them ideal for various recreational activities. The park features sports ovals, ample grassy areas suitable for picnics or ball games, and a playground equipped with engaging structures like a giant spinning climbing frame, catering to children of all ages.

For dog owners, the gardens provide designated off-leash areas, offering pets ample space to socialize and exercise. Additionally, amenities such as public barbecue facilities, picnic tables, public toilets, and an outdoor stage enhance the park's appeal for gatherings and events.

The gardens also host the Yarraville Farmers Market on the fourth Saturday of each month, providing visitors with access to fresh local produce. Food trucks frequently set up within the park, especially on weekends, offering a variety of culinary delights to complement the outdoor experience.

Overall, Yarraville Gardens serves as a versatile and well-maintained urban oasis, accommodating a wide range of activities for individuals, families, and community groups alike.

Beautiful, Relaxing Spot in Yarraville! Yarraville Gardens is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The park is spacious, well-maintained, and great for all ages. There’s plenty of open space for picnics, a playground for kids, and a dedicated off-leash area for dogs. The atmosphere is peaceful, with beautiful trees and a great view of the city skyline.

I especially loved the food trucks on weekends, a great bonus for grabbing a bite while enjoying the park. Whether you're going for a walk, having a family picnic, or just relaxing, Yarraville Gardens is a great spot to spend the...

Nice playground for the children. Many people though bring their dogs off the leash Don't get it. There's an open area further for pets to run free. Not a pet liked myself they run up to you lick you plus you don't know the dogs intentions. You hear so many stories people especially children get bitten by dogs. You want a dog or whatever animal walks keep it close and tight. There are people out there with phobia of animals . last thing they want is someone's dog running up to them and jumping on them and doing all sorts of discusting and or...
