Don't normally post reviews, and this is the one of the exceptions.

Walked in with my partner and we were amazed by the food quality and beverage. Easily the most amazing and authentic Mexican restaurants we have been to. We started the session with a coconut and pineapple mojitos, which were exceptional in quality, as followed by the tasty prawn and pork belly tacos.

The marinated shredded beef buritto is simply a must try and the pulled pork nachos was a great way to finish the meal. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and was exceptional in quality.

Now onto Ash, one of the staff members at the restaurant. Extremely polite, friendly and was a welcoming presence. Made the experience that much better.

Ash was extremely friendly and attentive to our dine in, telling us the current specials in regards to food and drink.

He gave us plenty of time to go through the menus and didnt rush us when we were initially making our decision.

He took time and gave us a rundown on the different home-made sauces that were all fantastic when we tried them with our food.

We over ordered initially, and Ash was honest enough to advise us to scale back our order.

Support Ash and the team, they try their very best, and the quality food and beverage is enough to make anyone happy.

Our New Go-To for Absolutely Sensational Mexican!

After a somewhat disappointing Mexican experience elsewhere the night before (looking at you, Hecho en Mexico – you just didn't hit the spot!), my partner and I were on a mission to find some truly satisfying Mexican food, and Yarraville's Village Cantina delivered in spades! We opted for the "2 Amigos Meal Deal" and it was an absolute revelation. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavour and clearly made with passion. But let me tell you, the pulled pork nachos are genuinely to die for! Seriously, if you go to Village Cantina and don't order these, you're missing out. They're a masterpiece of crispy chips, perfectly seasoned, tender pulled pork, and all the delicious trimmings. I'm still dreaming about them! From start to finish, our meal was fantastic. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the service was friendly and efficient. Village Cantina has completely surpassed our expectations and has firmly cemented itself as our new favourite Mexican spot. If you're craving incredible, flavour-packed Mexican food that truly satisfies, look no further than Village Cantina. We'll be back, and those pulled pork nachos will be first...

🌮 Taco and Totopos Box - Prawn, Fish, Pulled Pork, Pork Belly, Chicken I recently saw Village Cantina’s advertised deal of $55 for 10x tacos and totopos and absolutely could not resist - I had to get it that night! We were blown away by the value, all of the tacos were generously sized and filled. That was also however a slight downfall, some just had TOO much filling. It would be best shared between 3-4 people. The totopos and dips were great, as were the prawn tacos which had a nice barbecued char on them. The rest sadly lacked seasoning, flavour and all of the meats were dry. My friend ordered the cauliflower tacos and raves about how good they were, so I suggest giving them a try. Also not pictured were the Jalepeno Poppers, which were delicious and really packed some heat🔥 Even though there were some negatives to this feast, I will definitely give them the benefit of the doubt being that it was a delivery, the quality may have been affected and not travelled well.
