Came here with my partner on a cheeky date to enjoy some good burgers.
We arrived and waited in line for an uncomfortable amount of time and made our order after about 15-20 minutes of waiting in line. There was only one girl manning the front which didn’t seem right considering how busy the restaurant was.
After we ordered we sat outside and waited… and waited… and waited. We were given our drinks first which is standard practice in this restaurant but we had enough to completely finish their largest size drink that’s how long we waited. After about 50 mins of waiting we finally got one item of our food… the ice cream, which we requested to get after we had finished our burgers (they offered this option to us). The ice cream was quite good.
The girl had assumed that we got our food already to which we stated we hadn’t. By this time I could tell there were a lot of unhappy patrons just waiting for their food.
After an hour we finally received our food! Unfortunately, the quality of the food compared to how long we had to wait for were not up to par.
The fries were flavourless, stale, and almost cold. The onion rings tasted nice but were also not hot.
One of the burgers (crispy chicken) had tomato on it even though I requested it to be removed. The chicken inside was thankfully juicy, flavourful and crispy, topped off with a nice soft bun.
The Shroom burger we got didn’t really hit the same as it did in the past. The mushroom tasted like it was microwaved even though it was coated in a fried batter.
Overall, I’ve had much better from this restaurant chain, and have waited much less to get my food. The staff were friendly but didn’t seem too fussed by how long people were waiting. It seemed to me that the place was heavily...
Read moreIt only takes one a negative incident to occur for the entire experience to be ruined. Overall, we were welcomed by the most friendliest staff members waiting/cleaning the tables and the food overall was delicious. But when we decided to order Concrete after our meal, the girl person behind the register evidently did not want to be there - As I was walking up to be served, she already had a face of annoyance and she signed rather than greeting me. I was the one who had to initiate the “hello” which made it rather awkward and it was only then she said “hello” back. Afterwards, rather than placing the ‘beeper’ on the counter and sliding it over, she threw it at me. I wish wasn’t exaggerating but she threw it and bounced towards me. Like I said, great experience overall but that encounter was unnecessary and rude. I’m certain that is not how you want your company to be represented. I wish I had a name to pass on but all I can say is it was around 9:00pm Saturday 14/11/2020. Easily would have been a 5 star rating but significantly dropped to two because of pure rudeness by...
Read moreI went here on a public holiday and they were charging a 15% surcharge when you pay by card which is fine but then they wouldn't let me pay by cash because of a pandemic or whatever. A week later I come back here and they accept cash. Did the pandemic just go away? Or did you people just want to steal my money. On another note, your staff are clearly not trained in how to correctly use PPE. I saw a girl with gloves on clear a table of someone's freshly eaten food, grab someone else's fresh food to give to them, go back to clean the first table and then go talk to some different people all with the same pair of gloves on. If you didn't make her wear gloves, she could have washed her hands in-between all of this or at the very least make sure your staff know to change gloves in-between contaminated food and fresh food but instead you are giving everyone a false sense of security by saying "look everyone, we wear gloves, we know all about the PPEs, we are safe" and then do everything possible to spread whatever your customers bring in to everyone else. Gross. Food was...
