Betty's Burgers — Restaurant in Melbourne

Went here yesterday, ordered on the app in advanced, app said order would be ready at 6.30. I then received my order at 7.30pm. The girl preparing the orders was extremely laxy dazy when everyone around was clearly running around. She had obviously seen a bunch of people waiting but was placing orders to the side without calling out names or anything. I then had to call over one of the other busy staff members to get my order 10 minutes later. I then went to eat and it was practically inedible, it was freezing cold, I ordered extra sauces and didn’t receive them. I then attempted to go back in and ask for a refund but no one wanted to help so I ended up leaving. I then tried again tonight because I had assumed they maybe just had an off night. I payed another 30 dollars and mind you an extra few dollars for sauce, to not receive sauces again. Will not be returning here and would rather take my business to Betty’s burgers in Doncaster. Never again. Really...

The food is great, but I’m constantly absolutely frustrated getting delivery from here. More times than not, they forget to put the sauces in- which is one of the main reasons we choose to get food here. What’s the point of getting chicken dippers and not getting any sauce. It absolutely ruins the whole meal.

I’ve tried to order the sauce in different places (I.e a meal and then by itself as well) to try and combat the constant issue of sauces being forgotten to no avail. I’m not sure why this is such an issue for this store? It occurs so frequently that I’m actually surprised when the sauces are included.

Dining in is great, be wary of delivery as there is obviously a lack of care to ensure all items are correctly placed in the bag, and obviously they need to fix the current processes in place to ensure customers are actually getting all the items they’ve paid for. So...

The team at Betty's Burgers Plenty Valley are excellent. They seem to genuinely care about customer experience, and if everything is up to standard. My partner and I came for dinner after work and the wait time was low. I do not normally find myself in this area of wider melbourne, but out of the various Betty's establishments I have tried, this is one of the better ones.

Lily is a superstar at customer service. Professionally dressed, neat and tidy despite being just after 6:30pm dinner rushes dying down. She is friendly, clarifies every order and is both clear and articulate over the general hustle and bustle of the diner and kitchen atmosphere. She should be commended for her work!
