I had a fantastic customer service experience when I ordered a few takeaway meals for our group lunch over the phone. The staff member I spoke with was prompt in picking up the phone and incredibly friendly.
The food preparation time was surprisingly quick as-well, taking only about 10 minutes. This made it a perfect choice for those of us who were on a tight schedule and looking for a fast, piping hot meal. Upon arrival, the food was already prepared and waiting for me to pick up.
Although overall, the dining experience was pleasant, I was slightly disappointed with my grilled barramundi. My friend's portion was well seasoned and delicious, but unfortunately, mine lacked any flavour and was quite bland. It was underwhelming to see that one of us had a more enjoyable experience with the same dish.
During the ordering process, I was told that the sweet potato chips typically serve about 2-4 people. While they were indeed tasty and worth ordering, the portion size seemed more suitable for two people rather than a larger group. The box was not filled to the top, so if you're sharing with more than two people, I would recommend ordering two serves.
On a positive note, the Greek salad that accompanied the grilled barramundi was one of the best I've had, which is a lot to say about such a simple salad! The steak sandwich was also very tasty. It was cooked to perfection, as you would expect from a quality fish & chip shop.

Read moreBe prepared for rude staff and shady price gouges. I’m local and have been coming here since they first opened. In the beginning it was great! But since then I’ve watched it continually go down hill. Last time I got takeaway mussels and it took forever (I was the only customer in there) I got home and they were uncleaned, still the gritty taste of sand and beard with raw uncooked tomato sauce on top. That put me off them for many months. Finally tonight I decided to give them a second chance. Mistake! When I asked the girl on the phone for the fish special she told me 2 choices. I picked one. Wrong choice. Apparently one is the “Fish Special” and one is the “Managers Special” I got the more expensive by default. When I mentioned I didn’t know the difference on the phone the girl didn’t tell me a price difference, I was just rudely asked to “Choose one already”. On pickup when I brought it up to the guy behind the counter I got the “oh well” shrug. No discount for their mistake, I just had to pay the extra and take it on the chin. When I explained this was my second bad experience in a row he just kept saying Bye! I guess they don’t need the business to treat customers this way, especially during these uncertain financial times. Buyer beware and check your receipt and make sure to ask lots of questions so you don’t get ripped off. Read moreMost of my friends haven't eaten at Blu and because me and my husband eat there most of the time, and we love their food, we decided to celebrate my baby's birthday in there. However, I was so surprised the way they treated us. The cashier was extremely rude. I DONT KNOW if its that how she normally treats her customers or she just got a disgusting attitude. Everytime she serves a customer she uses a rude tone.I wasn't very impressed that one of my guest paid separately wherein I already mention to someone that we are having a tab. THE cashier told me off instead of giving me a proper instructions. She should approach their customers in a friendly manner. Whenever I reminded her that she is not very kind, she tries to agrue instead. Then one of the lady waitress was rude as well when telling us to vacate a vacant table. We're 12 people and they told us to use 3 tables only because according to her they are busy and fully occupied. That is ok I understand that other customers need to use the table as well, but I don't understand why they can't say it nicely, and infact on that time, until we left, the place wasn't even that packed.
