Inconsiderate and distracted staff

Just want to get a croissant in your cafe today. I went with my baby in the pram. The cafe had no customer indoors by the time I was there. Asked the lady behind the counter whether there were any chocolate croissants left, as there weren't any in the glass cabinet. She told me she would check with the kitchen. But she continued to work on the computer while i was standing there. After a while, she went to the kitchen and told me there was non left. I then asked to get a plain croissant and a mini financier without a coffee. After I paid for it, the lady began to talk to the barista and helped her to label the coffee cups while i was standing right in front of them and waiting to get my order, until I had to ask her when I can get it, at which point she took them out of the glass cabinet (which was in front of me the whole time!!!). When I left, she just stood there while I had to open the door myself while managing a pram with no help. Felt very angry and mistreated...

We've visited many times now and the food is consistently phenomenal! We have a 1 year old who loved trying the French food, particularly the duck. We've also brought family and friends when visiting and they've all commented how lucky we are to have another beautiful restaurant so close by. My dad when visiting had the chicken and said it was some of the best he'd had. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always stopping for a quick chat and playing with our son. We've loved getting to know them all and love the diverse culture the team brings to their food & experience. The coffee is always great. The team let us know they're using local suppliers so it's consistent with any coffee you'd get around the area. Just the bonus of pairing it with incredible French food!
