Brighton Were Street Fish Supply — Restaurant in Melbourne

Ordered two medium boxes of chips with a piece of flake in each and a dim sim and potato cake in one box and just 1 potato cake in the other. Upon arrival I was greeted by a frustrated staff member who repeated my order name back to me I then was told the price was $57.50 for the two boxes which I thought was very expensive considering my order. I repeated my order back to the staff member but before being able to finish I was Interrupted by what sounded like a completely different order. I questioned the order and asked why there was three boxes and was practically yelled at for questioning the order, I gave up as the ordeal had started to eat into my lunch break. The Food was brown and stale aswell as the Very poor communication skills and attitude towards customers, me and my workers will no longer be buying anything...

So, so glad I walked past here today. Coming from England, I crave proper hand-cut chips and surprisingly this place does them! Hallelujah! Deciding to come back at dinnertime, I ordered two flake and chips over the phone for myself and my partner before going to pick up. Yes - they take card. Yes - the guy who served me was genuinely friendly. And most importantly, yes - it was the best fish & chips I’ve had in 7 years of living...
