Olie & Ari — Restaurant in Melbourne

Rude, cold, Lack of personality, the two old bald guys behind the counter are absolutely miserable and one of the owners is standing outside swearing in conversation with someone in conversation while there are small kids around. Coffee is like water.. Certainly no Omar and the Magical Coffee Bird or Carter Lovett, and the kids that make coffee in the fruit and vege market on Church Street make it 10 times better. Need another coffee shop in this little precinct and these guys are done.

Someone come to Wear street and opens quality coffee...

I've been going to Olie & Ari sporadically for over 10 years and the quality has remained pretty consistent. The prices are also pretty good considering the area which is a bonus. The kind of food they've been putting out is still the same and hasn't been changed a lot. While some might see this as uninteresting I appreciate the commitment to providing good solid options that have shyed away from being over-complicated.

I'll continue coming here, not for a uber fancy brunch, but rather every single weekend for consistently good...

Attentive service, very good food. Next time I would order one plate for two as the servings were enormous, perfect coffee. My negatives about the atmosphere were the table size was too small to comfortably fit plates, water glasses and coffee cups and the dosage itself is extremely noisy when it's busy, so breakfast conversation at a normal speaking volume was not possible for us. This would not stop me returning as the coffee, food and service was wonderful, maybe I would choose a warm day and...
