Bromley's Bread Cheltenham — Restaurant in Melbourne

Honestly they deserved 0 stars for their customer service. As a long time customer who supported them through the pandemic, I have been left disappointed by their attitude of late. I went to their shop yesterday at 1pm only to notice that they were shutting. They are supposed to close at 3pm. I went in and ask for the loaves I wanted to buy. But was told rather impolitely that they had sold out of bread. A blatant lie as there were shelves of loaves being stored away. So much for the bread being sold out. Such liars. They have lost my business. To make matters worse when I posted a comment on their Instagram to alert the owners to this (in case they weren’t aware of their staff practice), it was deleted. Well shows you a lot about how they treat their customers. No thanks I won’t be buying your over priced...

Usually I have a very nice experience when buying coffee / pastries from Bromley’s, however today was quite unprofessional. A very young trashy type of female served me. Apparently her name is Ainsley….as stated by another staff member. When trying to assist her with getting the correct amount of change from the $100 note I gave her, she became quite angry, realising her mistake, she aggressively dumped the remaining money owed into my hand. Another staff member then told her she should brush up on her maths. Most unprofessional behaviour to myself, the customer in a shop full of people waiting to be served. The level of maturity is definitely lacking at Bromley’s, tables are left filthy with rubbish on them, and a huge lack of experience with customer service. I won’t waste my money or...

My favourite bakery in the universe. Unbelievable breads (the four cheese is mind blowing) and the pastries are so good that when I eat them, I swear to god I float above my own body and look down at my face and see a smile of a man who has reached true spiritual happiness. The bear claws are so amazing that they have the ability to make me forget any sadness in my life and magnify the joys of living. It has been scientifically proven to be physically impossible to experience anything but pure joy when consuming them. The staff are extremely friendly. They always have smiles on their faces and eating at this bakery always puts a smile on mine. Well done Bromley’s Bread, you guys...
