First visited with my best friend Sherwin. I had the ‘Back to Basics’ burger and the ‘Howdy’ burger, then shared some waffle fries. Sherwin also ordered two burgers and Sharon thought we ordered for a group. However, that wasn’t the case. We ordered for ourselves. It was the most memorable experience I’ve ever had eating burgers. The burgers weren’t messy at all, overall so nicely balanced. Well-constructed, delicious burgers that look just like the pictures Sharon has on the menu. The waffle fries were the best I’ve had. The portion size was generous and they weren’t oily at all, probably could have smashed more. On that note, I could have had three burgers, but everything in moderation you know. I forgot to take photos because I was so caught up enjoying the food. Everything tasted fresh, and despite eating all that food, I feel refreshed. Sharon is one of the most wholesome, wonderful souls I’ve ever met. Her 10 year tenure (she is the shop’s founder) is coming up on May 12 2025, I implore the community to come together to celebrate her (although she is closed that day). Cannot wait to return and try more of Sharon’s food. I treasure experiences like this. You’re hungry for burgers and look up a place that has good reviews. You go to said place and come away with an experience that you’ll forever treasure, thanks to the customer service experience. Sharon puts her heart and soul into what she does, and the Braybrook community is very lucky...

The other reviews are spot on. The owners are very lively and gives very personalised service. Very rare these days.

The decor of the place is very good, with nice succulents planted outside and colourful neon signs. The nice wood interior and calm guitar BGM reminds me of a wooden cabin.

The pricing is about average. The food is very well presented and both the beer battered fries and sweet potato fries stayed crispy despite us eating it once we got home.

The milkshakes are more like thickshakes, and are incredible, would come back purely for the shakes. Owner even made it extra thicc for me and it made my day.

Surprisingly only downside was the taste of the burger. We got the basics burger and the overall taste was very plain. Feeling like it lacked salt on the meat, flavour in the cheese, tiny bit of sugar and salt in the bun and fat in the meat blend. As well as the umami from browned meat. The patties were also slightly dry, most likely due to the lack of fat rather than overcooked.

I tried to remedy it by adding salt afterwards but it still lacked the umami from the ingredients. The plus side is the tomatoes, and pickles were very fresh, the bun was toasted very nicely.

I normally don't leave a review of the food in this much detail but I'd want this place to be the best it can be.

Despite all this, the burger was still better than 90% of the typical burger places and I'll still come back because of the fantastic owners...

Wow what a place, sorry I could not take any photos but boy oh boy what a joint.

Burger Review: This place offers burgers that are thick, juicy and very very delicious. I had the double trouble and lamb burger, oh my were they good The patties are thick, juicy and made daily. Personally, I think this is what sets these burgers apart from the competition. The salad within the burger is fresh and crisp, the brioche buns are sweet and buttery and the sauce complements it all. Trust me people, ditch the fast food burgers and come here, you wont be disappointed. Even the other burger joint down the road which we wont mention here doesn't even come close to the quality of the burgers at Burgernomics. Highly recommended to go and eat in store.

Thick shake review: My partner and I tried the birthday cake, chocolate and the sweet yam flavoured shakes. Trust me when I say this, you wont have shakes like these anywhere else. They are 100% bringing back the old school thick shakes that are jammed packed with flavour and THICK. Put aside those watery and diluted shakes you get elsewhere that taste fake and pumped with syrup. Highly recommend these as well. Trust me people.

Overall , such a lovely joint to enjoy a good quality burger and delicious thick shake, The owners are lovely and you can really taster the love, care and effort they put into their food.

Hoko over and out (P.S Im a foodie so...

Burgernomics is definitely gonna see me again... After smashing the Howdy fried chicken burger, with extra fried chicken, streaky bacon and extra cheese, I was left sitting in awe. It was definitely one of the best fried chicken burgers I've had; and I'm a fried chicken burger FIEND. The nacho's need a lot of work. Corn chips with soupy cheese and 4 pieces of jalapeno's isn't gonna cut it. There isn't a liquor menu, unfortunately. Standard run of the mill refreshments and a couple of other glass bottle type of sodas as well. The vegan options seem pretty consistent and well thought out. The restaurant is super kitschy and well thought out. It's small, quiet with enough tables and seats to accommodate the fast paced environment. It is really just an order, wait and eat type of place. It has tables outside that would do the place justice in summer. Parking is going to be an issue as it's on the main drag of Ballarat Road. The music needs updating for such a little burger restaurant though (I mean, to keep up with the other types of restaurants around doing the same thing); just anything other that what's there. Something with a little beat maybe. All in all, Burgernomics is a solid 10 out of 10, but, it could go that extra little mile and be an 11 out of 10!

We always go past this burger shop and seems pretty busy at night so we went on a lunch and it was empty. Tried Back to Basics and fries. Burgernomics sauce was pretty good! Chips are nicely salted as well. Will go back to try the other burgers.

I recently revisited Burgernomics, the beloved burger joint I used to frequent during my high school days, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful! Back in the day, their burgers were already fantastic, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they've managed to elevate their burgers to a whole new level. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the nostalgic aroma of sizzling burgers and friendly smiles from the staff. The menu, which was already impressive, has expanded to include even more mouthwatering options. The attention to detail in every burger is truly commendable – the patties are perfectly cooked, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and the buns are always soft and just the right amount of toasty. I can confidently say that Burgernomics has not only managed to maintain the high standards I remember from my high school days but has also exceeded my expectations. If you're a burger enthusiast looking for a place that combines delicious food, friendly service, and a nostalgic vibe, this is the place to be! Kudos to the team at Burgernomics for consistently delivering top-notch quality. I'll definitely be coming back for more of those mouthwatering burgers!
