I decided to grab a take away coffee from this cafe. The service was friendly and happy.

My strong skinny latte was good, the coffee had a nice flavour.

The price was reasonable and I'd happily go back again.

Previous review - 25 April 2018 I'd just been to the Anzac Day service and I was keen for a coffee. Driving down Bridge Road i saw this cafe open before 7am and on a public holiday! Yay! Hahaha

Most cafes weren’t open until 7am today. I was greeted by the most lovely lady who was much more friendly and cheerful than I was at the time lol

My strong skinny latte was perfect, not too hot, and amazingly good. I sat and I was offered some water which was really nice.

I hope everyone’s Anzac Day starts as...

I often frequent Cafe Azul both for a yummy treat-myself pickup breakfast and also when I fancy a nice brunch with friends or family. I love sitting in the back courtyard, it’s a lovely quiet oasis just off bustling Bridge Road. The coffee is beautifully made, service is warm and friendly from the family who runs it. Don’t go past the glass pastry counter in the front- the filo rolls are delicious, and I am obsessed with the Piadina. Their regular plated breakfasts from the menu are always perfect, I like the Farmer’s breakfast to share or to gorge myself when starving. Lovely spot, treat yourself...

Was doin a little Zip trip on the pushy and ended in Richmond. Decided a toasty was the best way forward and Cafe Azul just happened to be nearby.

Umm, will say up front, nice enough but being spoilt with cafès in Melbs I wasn't really taken with my visit 😥.

Coffee was good. Had a cheeky Ruben too. Was quite tasty, but looked like they used Tip Top bread and processed meat, so (alas) it wasn't an epicurean delight 🤭.

Service.. umm, well, I'm sure theyre very nice peeps, but I've had more joy at a dentist 😀

Overall, worth a crack, just that my visit wasn't rainbows and unicorns.

Zip did enjoy his...

Cafe Azul is such an unassuming cafe on Bridge Road. It's not as fancy as others around it but it's definitely worth a visit. It's an old, rustic fit out and you'll be greeted by by very warm, friendly staff who I believe are the owners who run it. The food here is very flavoursome and filling with food size servings. Imagine new age breakfast done the way your mum use to make food, with lots of flavour! Coffee is good and they have seating inside, out front and a courtyard out back. Worth a stop and try
