This place was so good. The food was amazing. I ordered the Korean fried chicken (original & spicy mayo), grilled beef flank steak, pork belly arancini balls and some rice. The fried chicken has to be the best I've ever had anywhere. It was crispy but soft and tender at the same time. Perfect texture. The beef flank steak was elite. It was a high grade beef and had a smokey taste to it. Combine that with the lettuce and the sauce and it was an incredible combination. The aranchini balls were a great mix of flavour from start to finish. The rice was plain rice but it was fluffy and tasted great. The lady working was very friendly and had a great personality too. The restaurant itself was small and very cosy with cool artistic touches with a cool Korean flavour too. It is on a main road but there is easy parking around the corner. 100% would recommend this place. I've been to over 100 Korean restaurants and this has to be one of my fave, if not, right at the top. Awesome job to the chef and the amazing lady working too.

Hi guys, We found this place as a Google recommendation and let me tell you the overlords know well! Highly recommended as I had a few really nice dishes here... Check out the pics for some stunning looking fusion plates, you can match the meals with the pics of the menu with my finger pointing to them. The lamb was outstanding, the Bao Bun is probably one of the best you can get in Melbourne but I personally didn't like the pork aftertaste. The KFC was ok similar to the other 2 dishes. The interior ambiance was really good as you can see from my pic and the staff were friendly. Portion size was a bit tiny or I was too hungry but after the 5 meal deal was over I did feel full. Again even thou you might get bigger, cheaper better KFC in other places this was an exceptionally good fusion with some really good dishes so make sure you visit, we will definitely go back for more later...

My hubby and I recently enjoyed a kids-free date night at Jan Chi Korean Feast, and it was a fantastic experience as always! We opted for the "Feed-me" menu paired with Korean beer, and every dish was delightful. The highlights for me were the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) and Roast Pork. Both were perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and tender, juicy interior. The balance of flavours and textures in all the dishes was exceptional – sweet and sour, spicy and salty, crispy and tangy. Overall, it was a wonderful evening filled with delicious food and great atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful Korean dining experience!

Jan chi is the perfect local. I have introduced many friends who aren't local and every single person has returned. The food, yes it's genius. The Chef could have gone down a fine dining route of menu but kept it honest, simple, fun, fresh and non pretentious. Start with the tea smoked duck and salmon Sashmi. The tea is imported from a special province and tastes unlike any other duck I've had before. Delicate and simple...the Sashimi is clean and fun with pops of mild Chili and dehydrated mandarins. They have their own version of KFC which as far as Korean fried chicken goes, soooo good I just can't even. The staff are always on point and friendly and service from host/owner SJ ensures you are always welcomed like a friend. Add this all to a fantastic vibe and energy- pair it with a brilliant drinks list, be it Sake, Soju, beer or Rose and you have the best little restaurant/bar on Bridge road.

I love Jan Chi and pray it...
