Cafe Bacino on Burke — Restaurant in Melbourne

I heard this place had recently changed its owner. I have been here before for a quick take away… but today I dropped by for a brunch n a cuppa with a friend. We shared soft shell crab sandwiches and chilli egg scrambles. We shared our meals… They even cut it up in half n served us half of each menu! What a delightful little cafe. I was hankering for an early afternoon tea after shopping at the Super IGA on Burke Rd and tried Cafe Bacino. Such a warm welcome and quick friendly service. I enjoyed a large pot of tea and a homemade raspberry muffin (which looked great and tasted even better). I stopped by again some months on and had a lovely egg salad and tomato sandwich and tea, and treated myself to a delightful two-bite small blueberry...

An absolute stunner and hidden local gem. Such a high quality food with reasonable price and portion.

The vegetarian curry was very smooth and silky (with a surprise of perfectly cooked deep fried egg), and the bulgogi bowl was an excellent example of how a modernized Korean food should be.
